Now that he has slayed the Massachusetts blue dragon, now EVEEEEEERYBODY -- of the Republican persuasion -- is jumping on the Scott Brown bandwagon.
We know that Tom Campbell has had other things on his mind recently, like deciding which major office to run for. But the GOP Senate candidate didn't send out a note urging his supporters vote for to until noon Tuesday -- about oh, five hours before the polls closed.
Fellow GOP Senate candidate Carly Fiorina didn't formally send out any such notes, but campaign insiders say she spoke about it "repeatedly" to donors, supporters. She followed up, as Comrade Marinucci told us, with an attaboy note after the deed was done.

i’m thinking republicans dont get it either
If you were for Brown back when Brown wasn't hip, give props to Chuck D from the OC, aka Orange County Assemblyman Chuck DeVore. As we told you the other day, he made calls for Brown, and has been pushing the Massachusetts man's candidacy online and on the stump. Image of Brown dominates Chuck D.'s website Wednesday, along with the note: "Now let's go west to defeat Boxer."It took a really long time for most of the Republican hierarchy to get behind Brown.
Too gay.
>>im thinking republicans dont get it either<<
Heck, many FReepers don’t get it.
Winning has many fathers; losing is an orphan. Human nature at work. And, BTW, it might be a good thing if some Republicans took a lesson from Brown on how to campaign.
So, CHUCK DEVORE was the only one of the three challengers to Boxer, who actually made calls for Scott Brown !!!
No wonder I am supporting CHUCK DEVORE !!!!
>>It took a really long time for most of the Republican hierarchy to get behind Brown.
All I heard from SB was Mitt (love him or hate him, but he was there in the beginning) and McCain. Notice in the speech that Brown never mentioned Michael Steele...
That tells me a lot about how Scott Brown will be in the Senate.
brown was the lesser of two evils.
One reason that Mitt was brought up was that he was the last Republican Governor there, he left in 2006, I think Governor William Weld actually made appearances didn’t he?
Come to think of it, didn’t Giuliani show up as well, Mitt did not did he?
Brown is definitely not a Taft Republican, but he is conservative on many points/ He is maybe like a Gerald Ford /George H.W. Bush Republican. Since people like that have been around for sixty-years are more, RINO is not perhaps the best way to describe them, snot even someone like Snowe. LiberalRepublican, Rockefeller Republican.
Well put.
Not me.
But Scott Brown is not a conservative due to the so-called "pro-choice" stance.
I sure hope he gets past it. It's a biggie.
Shock waves sent through the left...hope waves sent through the right.....
Mitt was on the stage, and came out during the acceptance speech. I wacthed the entire speech and maybe I missed it, but Giuliani was not there onstage. Doug Flutie and Lenny Clarke were there though LOL
Sure is allot of scorched earth Libertarians on FR with as much sour grapes as any one on the DU. They can’t accept this as a victory, because a revitalized GOP destroys any possibility of a third party rising.
My God, what do you want? This is Massachusetts were talking about here. He voted 97% of the time along with his party and has some A+ ratings from many conservative watchdog groups.
