Sorry, I couldnt word it any more politely than that. But the very prospect of GOP Sen. George Voinovich of Ohio bailing on his party to cast a swan song 60th vote for the government health care takeover bill makes me want to spit nails.
Voinovich is meeting with President Obama at 11:30am Eastern today in the Oval Office.
Nate Nelson at the Rust Belt blog notes that since Voinovich has already announced his retirement, he has nothing to lose. Hes infamous for turning into a blubbering mass on the Senate floor while crusading for the illegal alien amnesty and voting against U.N. Ambassador John Bolton, for example. Remember this infamy?

believe me when I tell you, when Mayor Frank Jackson gets wind of this, he will be on fire calling GV so fast that it will make your hair fall out.
That city becomes UNGOVERNABLE without the income from CC and its employees.
You get rid of CC and it becomes Detroit.
Fast

Oval Office Meeting: Obama plans a closed meeting with Ohio Sen. George Voinovich, a Republican who has announced his retirement. The meeting comes ahead of Obamas Friday trip to the Buckeye State, part of the White House to Main Street Tour. Obama plans to hold a town hall meeting on the economy and jobs in Elyria with workers, business leaders, small-business owners and local leaders.
I just e-mailed him and let him know that my 88 year old father who is a life-long MASS Democrat and has NEVER voted for a Republican is voting for Scott Brown because he is OPPOSED to Obama “healthcare” bill and that the senator needs to wake up and realize that Americans are angry and INFORMEND and want NOTHING to do with this “healtcare” bill. I told him this: If MASS, the most liberal state in the union is opposed to Obama and this “healthcare” bill and the Democrats are going to lose a senate seat that they have held for 44 years, then Senator Voinovich needs to realize that Voinovich will lose his senate seat if he becomes a traitor and votes to support this bill. I told him, Americans will do everything in their power to make sure he loses his senate seat the next time he is up for election.
Write, Voinovich, call Voinovich, FAX Voinovich and let him know what is going to happen to him ASAP.
So what is his payoff?
O must be gonna promise him some big pie in the sky at our expense.
Doncha just love this BS?
We are betrayed over and over and over again.

Voinovich to meet with Obama today and seek debt solution
By Stephen Koff, The Plain Dealer

Ohio is bigger than Maine...
If he sells us out , may he rot in hell
How many pieces of silver will Voinovich get?
The Mistake From The Lake
He’s retiring—he doesn’t care.
CC? Chamber of Commerce?
An anti-obamacare RINO is a RINO I’ll take anyday. ESPECIALLY from the land of Massholes.
I was at a Tea Party rally last night. Outstanding turn-out with explosive enthusiasm. There was some concern that voter enthusiasm may drop off if Brown becomes the 41st Senate vote to stop ObamaCare. It's helpful to see that good, ol’ predictable Obozo will continue with his agenda, instead of trying to fake being a Centrist like Bill Clinton did after the 1994 election. That's all the Community Organizer knows; can't see him trying to hide it now to try to fool the electorate. It makes it so much easier for the average person not watching event as closely as we do to see Obozo for the Socialist he is and hand the House and Senate back to the Conservative GOP. Normally, hucksters like Obozo try the "two steps forward, one step back" to hide their tracks and fool the masses. However, it seems Obozo will continue his socialist swing. |
A Rino is always a problem.
It’s time for the GOP leadership to start breaking out Volonivich’s FBI files.
I called Voinovich’s Cleveland office this morning and the woman who answered the phone assured me that he would not be voting for the health care bill. As someone else posted, his meeting today with Obama has to do with debt resolution.
Would you rather have Coakley?
He’s a politician. It’s very likely he’s going to rot in hell, anyway.
