Joe Scarborough has expressed serious doubts as to his Republican affiliation, and made clear that House GOP whip Eric Cantor "is not my friend." But caution to those who assume Joe has gone left: he has clarified to this NewsBuster that his critique of the GOP comes from the right . . .
Scarborough's stunning comments came on today's Morning Joe in response to Dem Bob Shrum's taunting of Joe over his ostensible GOP membership, in the context of Pres. Obama's attempt to rescue Martha Coakley from the rubble of her campaign.

This isn’t exactly a shock. It’s like when the guy in your class who was a flaming sissy admits he’s gay and expects you to be surprised.
And that analogy was chosen just for metro Joe.
GRRRRREAT thread! Thanks to all posters. Thanks for watching/reporting, Mark. I’d rather listen to Scarborough Fair than listen to anything Joe has to say.

Can someone please check Joe off the list of Rino’s to purge from the republican party?
You never were, Joe..............................I voted for you as a placeholder................
Joe has gone so far left, it took Heilman to point out that a Coakley loss would be the canary in the coal mine for the Democrats.
Joe never even brought that point up.
Let’s face it, this is like the folks who moved from CNN to Fox and were instantly comfortable with conservative viewpoints. Greta is the best example. Geraldo is (still) an idiot.
Speaking of Greta, she’s been doing a great job. She’s really been on a tear lately against the healthcare sham, too.
VP gore was walking in DC and saw a boy pulling a wagon with puppies in it. They were so young their eyes weren’t even open yet. gore asked the boy what kind of puppies ther were and the boy replies democrat puppies. gore was really excited by this. A few weeks later gore and clinton were walking in the same area and gore saw the boy with the puppies again. gore said to clinton come over here a minute and listen to this. They walked over and were talking with the boy. he said listen to this bill. gore then asked the boy what kind of puppies were they. The boy replies republican. gore spit and stuttered and said to the boy a few weeks ago you said they were democrat puppies. What is wrong with you? The boy replied three weeks ago their eyes weren’t open.
This article in Politico is one Morning Joe must have missed............
Obama and a parade of Democrats who appeared on stage before a crowd a local fire official put at 1,100 at Northeasterns modest gymnasium spent much of their time trying to explain to the audience, and to themselves, how they had lost their grip on the public anger a word that has replaced hope as the emotion Democrats are trying to channel.
1100 is a far cry from 5,000, but why let facts get in way of what your bosses are telling you to say.
Joe’s always been a RINO.
He’s in good company - most Republicans aren’t Republicans.
This is good news, from this day forward he can no longer be used as a token republican who says bad things about the GOP because he himself said he isnt even sure he’s a republican. The GOP talking heads need to mock him, ridicule him when he says the GOP needs more balance and more liberals. Counter with “Well, we’ll take anybody, Joe. We even let you in for a while but I hear you’ve decided you want out. Gonna go to the more moderate party of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Kucinich, Boxer, Schumer, Sharpton, and Franken, is that it?”
Never been any doubt in my mind, Joe. You fit in very well......right between ‘Tingles’ and ‘Olby*****’.
Youtube Ron Paul on the Morton Downey Jr. show. It’s a hoot.
lol. perfect.
The Scar was a Republican?? say what??
