Martha Coakley, the Democrat candidate for Massachusetts' vacant senate seat, supports partial-birth abortion, using taxpayer money for abortion, and even opposes parent consent laws on abortion. This, at least, according to the group Mass Citizens for Life who've been hard at work this past Sunday in distributing fliers to churches all across Massachusetts, warning Catholics of Coakley's disreputable, anti-life stand on partial-birth abortion, the use of taxpayer money for abortion, and shocking opposition to parental consent laws.

Coakley’s campaign blundered a few days ago by accusing Scott Browm of not wanting to treat rape victims.
Brown needs to counter that Coakley happily supports sticking a pair of scissors into the heads of babies as a means of birth control.
Just when I thought this woman could not be more vile....
Coakley looks like she’d be vulnerable if she decided to run for reelection as Massachusettes (sic) Attorney General.
I think Coakley achieves a state of orgasm every time a baby is murdered in the womb, that’s what I think.
And the goofball son of the late ‘liberal lion’ Fat Teddy (referring to Patrick here) didn’t even know Coakley’s first name, kept calling her ‘Marcia’ instead of ‘Martha’, that’s gotta hurt.
Why is it that in very few instances a woman legislator is much, much worse than a man would be and in 99% of the cases is butt ugly to boot?

I tactfully asked him WHY he was going to vote for Brown and his answer was: “Because of the healthcare bill Obama is trying to pass.” I carefully agreed with him and reinforced the fact that Obama wants to gut Medicare/Medicaid by taking away 500 BILLION DOLLARS from the system and that if he adds 40 million people to the rolls, especially illegal aliens the health care system would collapse… I told him that Brown is an honorable man and that he is totally opposed to the “healthcare” bill and would vote against it… MY DAD AGREED! I was flabbergasted!
If my own father; a life-long Massachusetts FDR Democrat who has voted for EVERY Kennedy, Kerry/democrat to ever come down the pike, is going to vote for Scott Brown, a REPUBLICAN, BECAUSE OF HIS OPPOSITION TO Obama and his evil healthcare debacle then things are looking VERY promising for Scott Brown and we could all be in for an incredible victory on Tuesday. To this end I am fervently praying.
Abortion
While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.
Now - I would vote for Brown over Coakley in a nano-second.
But to Freepers who demand an aggressive, no compromise pro life position from the GOP (I'm thinking of you Palinbots here) - are you ready to walk away from Brown because he is not pure on the life issue??
Well, you know, I initially crafted a well though out response, but kept going back to the above statement.

This thing should not ever see any seat of power ever again. This thing is nothing short of a mortal fiend.
It mostly likely does. It also tried its hardest to release a man convicted of raping a two year with a hot iron on no bail. This thing is absolute corruption.
Many of them apparently feel that way because in their view, anyone else who could win the GOP nomination is a pro-abort RINO.
And any Freeper who disagrees with the prospective anointing is generally tagged as a "bot" in support of someone else. So, I figure what's good for the gander is good for the goose.
It was not intended as a personal insult to you, I'm sorry if you took it that way, but I'm not going to take back the post.
