Here is Scott Brown's position on abortion:Abortion
While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.
Now - I would vote for Brown over Coakley in a nano-second.
But to Freepers who demand an aggressive, no compromise pro life position from the GOP (I'm thinking of you Palinbots here) - are you ready to walk away from Brown because he is not pure on the life issue??

I'm thinking of you Palinbots here Well, you know, I initially crafted a well though out response, but kept going back to the above statement.
I've decided not to stoop to your level by posting it.

Based on what Scott Brown has said regarding abortion (that the number of abortions should be reduced, he is against partial birth abortion, he is for parental notification), my perception is that he is in fact, pro-life and while his positions may not be 100 percent aligned with what we would wish, I believe that he is a thinking conservative, and his own views are certainly subject to being changed.
