Haitian evacuees may soon be flying into Tampa International Airport.
Tampa and other Florida airports are on "stand-by" alert to receive evacuees as part of a massive effort to help the earthquake-ravaged nation, said airport spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan.
Airport officials anticipate only a two-hour advance notice of aircraft arrival before being able to implement operating procedures - triage mode or passenger processing mode.
Evacuees may be healthy or in need of medical attention, she said in a media release. And some Haitians may have friends or family in the United States and need connecting air service or assistance and a place to stay.

obama could not be bothered to send needed troops to Afghanistan for months...and it will be slowwwww because of all the gear and supplies they need.
But by the end of this week, there will be TWELVE thousand Troops in Haiti.
TWELVE THOUSAND AMERICAN TROOPS! With heavy equipment, building materials, arms, food, water, medicines, and whatever else, until they completely rebuild Haiti which was a vast wasteland in the first place.

as soon as this happened I said obama would do this and how right I am, now will the media in this state report this because this will go down like a lead balloon with the public.

Well, I have been known not to think too far in advance! I guess any refugee camp that could be set-up here could be set-up down there just as well. Keep them near their homes, put them to work rebuilding, etc. I still would like to think that we can take some of them for medical treatment at Gitmo. But yes, with Obama in charge, it will be easy to open the floodgate in this “dire emergency”. (Well okay - I guess this one really DOES count as a dire emergency. The auto, bank and healthcare bailouts not so much). And with such an influx of Haitians needing medical care “It is even more imperetive that the healthcare package be passed with no delay.”
I DO wish that the orphans with families in the states that have been waiting for the adoption papers to get done could adopt. And I can’t imagine that most folks don’t have SOME copies of records or something, and that it wasn’t all in the Haitian government building that was ruined. I would think that in this situation, with orphans waiting to either die in Haiti or get the final paperwork done - let them go to their adoptive parents. I suppose there is screening for diesese, shots, etc. - but one would think they could be checked out on their arrival.
All right - enough of my bleeding heart charity I guess.
watching CNN, I see vast lineups of folks carry baggage loading up a C17, say 300 per flight....

We all know what's up here but like you said, the public will rebel, whether he thinks he can get enough votes to compensate for it, and win is another story.
One thing is for sure, he's fighting to win and will use all methods any good commie would, we're at war.
believe me first hand we have tons of children already in this state waiting to be adopted.
as for camps, I agree set up camps there and for medical then use a med ship.
They need to be there near their families and to be ready for rebuilding their country
I would say let the UN do this anyway and we can provide medical from the ship and we could help with logistics but to bring them here is plain insanity.
I don’t doubt you for your heart at all, it’s nice to know many out there are like that but we also need to think from our heads because you can be sure obama is.
months to decide to get troops to fight terrorism but to send thousands and have a plan to bring them here in days is quite telling and why florida, why not LA where Creole, french and voodoo is common

schools
bills like heat
food
clothes
medical when medical building here are closing or laying off workers
the list is endless and someone somewhere is making form this as is the immigrant groups, NAACP, black caucus who have been wanting to bring more over for years or get a law like the cubans have, foot on sand stay etc
this has to be stopped or the problems we face in this state will triple for years to come

I lived in Miami the first time Hatian’s started arriving in mass ... they destroyed the north part of the county.
Apartments that 20 years ago rented for $750 a month ended up being slums a couple of years after their arrival.
($750 a month is not much now but 20 years ago it was a very high and these were nice places to live)
One would rent an apartment and you could not turn them away and they would move 20 people into that apartment and then not pay their rent.
They were dirty, loud and threatening and it caused people who did pay their rent to begin moving out of the buildings . It was nothing to see these people walk down the street and use it as a toilet and yes I am talking the women too (Can you imagine seeing a woman lift her skirt and squat right in the middle of the street ? I saw it one to many times and moved as far away as could from these people )
Once people started moving out the landlords could not even make their water bills to the city (oh and they could not shut the water off for the apartments that were not paying rent either ) the cities ended up getting lots of the properties because the owners could not rent them , could not pay their water bills and could not shut them off or get the Hatians to move out.
That was just the tip of it since it spread into all the nearby housing also.
These people destroyed Dade county ... I feel really bad for Tampa if they get stuck with a boatload of them.
You are quite correct.But then you also should know that Obama has no intentuion of aiding the haitians. He intends to evacualte them to the USA, by the million.
Thats why the troops are there. Many Haitians will be very angry at the drain of the people from their homeland to serve the personal political needs of the Obamatron.Indeed the whole ting may backfoire on him and he may actually import many thousands of Republican voters.

I sit here and wonder, as I am sure you do what it is going to take to put a halt to the complete madness that has taken over our country.
