Haitian evacuees may soon be flying into Tampa International Airport.
Tampa and other Florida airports are on "stand-by" alert to receive evacuees as part of a massive effort to help the earthquake-ravaged nation, said airport spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan.
Airport officials anticipate only a two-hour advance notice of aircraft arrival before being able to implement operating procedures - triage mode or passenger processing mode.
Evacuees may be healthy or in need of medical attention, she said in a media release. And some Haitians may have friends or family in the United States and need connecting air service or assistance and a place to stay.

BO is just following in Jimmah Carter’s footsteps once again. Remember the infamous Mariel Boat Lift, when Castro deposited 125,000 Cubans, many of them criminals and mental patients, along the Gulf Coast and Carter allowed it? You’d think Southerners would scream bloody murder after that fiasco, but apparently they are only sheeple with a drawl.

a) a rapid response ( to his mind,Imperialistic)military response that would have secured Port au Prince and delivered immediate military security and aid within 48 hours.
b) the kumbayah UN aid model with a conglomeration of aid agencies that will fight with the US military rather that deliver stockpiled aid, AKA, the UN AID GOAT F_CK ( UNAGF).The UNAGF lines the pockets of crooks and organized crime in any country it "helps."The people mostly starve and the aid agencies do mock protests about the barbaric nature of the testosterone driven natives, while simultaneously denigrating and interfering with military assistance.
Guess which model of aid Obama chose? Buahahahahahahahah!

I remember the Merial boat lifts. Camps under the 395 & I95, and Krome detention center. This will make any inner city clean up efforts that were done in the last years a wasted effort. Get ready for a surge in crime, and homelessness. And the cities will be a cesspool. It took years for Miami to clean up after the boat lift.

Many of the Cubans were housed at Ft Chaffee, Arkansas.
And when they rioted and escaped , it cost Gov Bill Clinton the next election.
Send them to Detroit. If they can get used to the cold, they will fit right in with the locals.
Hell, that might actually be another good way to get more “Obama Money” into Motown...Haitians in Detoilet, Mooslums over in Shitcago....the possibilities are endless...
