"I can't see Russia from here like Gov. Palin, but I can see South Dakota and South Dakota has figured it out - zero percent sells."
Those words came from Iowa GOP Gubernatorial candidate Bob Vander Plaats during a forum sponsored by the Clay County Tea Party Patriots.
Vander Plaats is making his third attempt at becoming Iowa's Governor. He is a very close ally of Mike Huckabee, and served as Huckabee's 2008 Iowa co-chair.
empt at the Iowa Governor's office, the Sioux City businessman's appearance highlighted the first of three scheduled gubernatorial Informed Voter Forums sponsored by the Clay County Tea Party Patriots.

Huckabee shill by the sounds of it. No problem. If she runs, it will all be moot.

Where is ‘here’, and was Palin there?
Or, can this dude see South Dakota from Alaska?

The same people who actually think Sarah Palin said "I can see Russia from my house" also think that this is a picture of Gerald Ford:

MitBot!
Just give it up.
Everybody who can actually handle a remote control for a Toshiba TV knows Sarah didn't say that.

You know this really burns me. The guy is a cretin. I lived on Little Diomede Island in the middle of the Bering Straits. The international timeline ran right between us and the Soviet Big Diomede, FIVE miles apart. I also lived in Cape Prince of Wales and you can clearly see both Siberia and Big Diomede from the Alaskan mainland. Anyone who they can make some joke about this had better NEVER make it to my face! It will be his last!

This guy is a stupid ass:
“They’re our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.”
Anything else, he should attributed to Tina Fey.

You are so right. That’s why I was so excited to see Sarah sign on as a commentator with FOX!

Huh? Are you calling me a “Mitbot” or the idiot Huckabee supporter this thread is about? Neither makes a lick of sense, if so.

Anyway, just to say this, I think it was totally valid that Palin commented on the closeness of Alaska to Russia.
To: bigred08
Is Bob Vander Plaats an idiot?
He is addressing the Tea Party Patriots and he attacks Gov Palin (who the Tea Parties love)? Way to go trying to pick up votes. Let's see how his campaign does shall we?
