Wouldn’t be suprising. Most of Port Royal Jamaica disappeared into the bay after an earthquake several hundred years ago.
There goes our tax dollars in more aid...Obama to Chavez.
“Maybe we were wrong about ol’ Pat...”
No we weren’t.
FYI. I thought the download would probably take a long time.
Turns out it only takes about 1 second. (unless you are on dialup).
Anyway, whenever you download, I am sure you will enjoy it.
I do.
Lets not forget “Global Warming”. Most of the world is seeing record cold.
Makes you wonder if someone is trying to tell us something.
Goes a long way toward explaining why there seem to be many SUNKEN CITIES off the coasts of CUBA, etc.
Heh heh, if Pat Robertson says it’s God judging Chavez, then in this case, I would agree with him.
I dont care.
There. Fixed it.

Is that you, Sam Gerard?
Hey, it’s not often I get to post some really good news! ;)
The Richter magnitudes are based on a logarithmic scale (base 10). What this means is that for each whole number you go up on the Richter scale, the amplitude of the ground motion recorded by a seismograph goes up ten times. Using this scale, a magnitude 5 earthquake would result in ten times the level of ground shaking as a magnitude 4 earthquake (and 32 times as much energy would be released). To give you an idea how these numbers can add up, think of it in terms of the energy released by explosives: a magnitude 1 seismic wave releases as much energy as blowing up 6 ounces of TNT. A magnitude 8 earthquake releases as much energy as detonating 6 million tons of TNT. Pretty impressive, huh? Fortunately, most of the earthquakes that occur each year are magnitude 2.5 or less, too small to be felt by most people.
Also a 4.0 in Oaklahoma and several EQ’s today from 4.4 down in Central California..The earth is unsettled that’s for sure..
Any thoughts about this from Hugo’s friend Danny Glover?

Earth quakes and volcanos are a part of end times projections. I fear for California. If you live in California and have been considering moving, move now!
And a 10+ magnitude quake is going to hit Massachusetts on Tuesday, if Scott Brown wins.

The plates that were involved in Haiti are also the ones near Hugo and it is more likely a case of aftershocks from the Haiti quake driving it.
As for End times, a lot of people have been predicting the end times since the beginning of time, if they do come, I don’t think they will occur when any mere mortal man make a prediction of when. They will most likely come out of the blue and it could be next year or int he next thousand years etc.... Trying to predict the “end times” based on current events is the height of hubris and the sin of pride.
