The plates that were involved in Haiti are also the ones near Hugo and it is more likely a case of aftershocks from the Haiti quake driving it.
As for End times, a lot of people have been predicting the end times since the beginning of time, if they do come, I don’t think they will occur when any mere mortal man make a prediction of when. They will most likely come out of the blue and it could be next year or int he next thousand years etc.... Trying to predict the “end times” based on current events is the height of hubris and the sin of pride.
But we know they happen on a pretty much continual basis....and have for centuries.
So Logic would say nothing is really new here.
