My question was concerning the caption of FreeRepublic.com spokesman. I can assure you that no matter how long I work at my current (or former) employers, I am/was in no way thier spokesman and should I have taken the task upon myself, I would have been summarily disciplined.

I'm not calling for that here, but I am curious as to the process one has to take to become a "spokesman". If it's just the media making that assumption, fine. If it's Kristinn making that claim I just want to understand the rules/guidelines.

If Rush would have kept to "American exceptionalism" on day one and left Obummer OUT of his show, he would have been fine. I heard him that day (and I love Rush and think he is brilliant and he would be my number one to have dinner and a single malt with) but he was out of line with his comments. No need to politicize this event on day one with people dying under buildings and motherless children roaming the streets.

He could have recounted the politics next week.
