In a classic example of "why-did-they-do-that?" Kristinn at Free Republic tries to play Matrix with Conservative Radio Host Rush Limbaugh's terrible and insensitive Haiti comments.

I liked it better when the news media was talking about Obama going down in the polls. Doesn’t Rush know that the media is going to distort what he says about something this incendiary? Now they’re making him out to be evil. It could be a win for the democrats & they’ll go on & on about Rush.

I heard what Rush said. It was unremarkable because it was a description of Democrat business as usual. Remember the words of one of Obama’s folks about not letting a crisis go to waste? You think that the Marxist Obama is not, insofar as a Marxist can pray, down on his knees thanking the gods of the fault zones for giving him a tragedy on our doorstep that can so thoroughly deflect attention from his and his cabal’s attempt to screw over the U.S. on behalf of special interests?
Right. Rush often hands them a bone with his gratuitous comments. Haiti is also code for Black, and we all know how much the DBM likes to pound on Rush the racist
Liberals think realists are without compassion. I wish I could snap my fingers and make Haiti a utopia but the fact is that it won’t be. There is only so much we can do.
Now the news reports this morning are saying that gang fighting has started breaking out around the city.

While President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were enjoying their “vacation” house in Hawaii over the holidays, I was in Chicago with my Mom and her friend, who’s daughter and husband are friends of the First Couple and live not far from the Obama’s other home in Hyde Park, Chicago.
Chicago is my hometown, so the area around Greenwood and Hyde Park, where the Obama’s home is located is familiar territory for me. Because of that, it was heart-warming for me to walk the grounds near their home because there’s is such the American success story.
