Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin on John McCain and Republicans
youtube/FNC/Glenn beck ^ | January 13, 2010 | sickoflibs/Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck:”It killed me to vote for John McCain. I voted for John McCain because of you. John McCain is a progressive…...he is for big government, for the bank bailouts, health care, he’s for all of it.

Sarah Palin : “Look what he’s doing now though. He and a lot of other politicians are saying ‘HMMM. Maybe that more progressive road we were on is not accepted by the electorate anymore’ and that’s why you see poll numbers changing. That’s why you see pressure from the tea party movements, from others wanting ‘common sense conservative values ushered back in. Look at what he’s doing now. He’s the one leading the fight against the government taking over health care.

Glenn Beck:”I don’t believe any of these people anymore. When they lost in 2006 because they were big spenders and they violated everything they said they were going to do. That was the time to come out and say ‘I was lost. I got caught lying cheating and stealing. I get it. Then they lost with John McCain. When they come out now so close to an election, why should I as a voter believe them?

Sarah Palin :”A lot of voters won’t believe they have changed in their thinking or the policies they want to see implemented…

No need for that... I have been a Republican since my first registration to vote. Yes, of course Republicans would be better, call me jaded with 65 years of stupidity and failure of the system. I’m just looking for a change (honesty would be a good one) in the system. I don’t expect it from Democrats, but do with Republicans (call it my weakness).

After a few decades of watching the collapse of the nation (several times - Mercy I hated Carter!), I hunger for change. That means either another party or a changed Republican Party... Still hoping for something useful to take home...

I thought perhaps her being on New Years Eve was a hint of some kind. If it was, they’re sure waiting much to long.

Megyn has been on BOR and other FNC shows since becoming a mom. In fact, she did the FNC New Year's Eve Show.

My frustration is similar to yours.

I do think a third party will only insure democrat rule forever. It is their (D's) best hope for one party rule.

Our best hope is to try to re-take the Republican party. It happened under Reagan, and it can happen again. I think the seeds are planted, it just takes conservatives wanting to make it happen.

I never said Sarah is a RINO. If you support Palin, fine. If they both run (both may not) we’ll argue the merits then. I just am not going to be lectured by folks here who were here pushing Rudy McRomney and listen to them tell me the same bullsh*t excuses for why we need to vote RINO.

If Palin had made a broader statement about how the GOP had lost their way and needed (party) reform it would have shown principle.

She has talked extensively about how the Republicans have lost their way. The cool thing about her is that she's not "in it" for the same reasons most others are. She's like Bachman. She'd rather not serve, but she feels obligated.

I'm not interested in them.

As far as I'm concerned, they could only be useful as small cogs in certain areas of an administration, but only under a conservative leader.

Yep...I know your right but still hope for a revolutionary third party waking up America. Well I can hope...

In reality, I know that a third party will ruin the chances of a Republican comeback, so yes...have to agree, but with remorse. Still waiting for that awakening of America!

Megyn Kelly is a true diamond at FNC. Beautiful, brilliant, professional and conservative without being partisan she is a true gem.

Dude, wipe the drool off your chin! I love her too, but she she goes whacko lawyer every now and then, and she lets the FOX news makeup queers over boof her blondness now and again.

There are signs of America waking up. It's not lost (yet)......although this will be a tough fight.

Yep. I agree. This country needs to hit the REVERSE button. It cannot simply lurch slower towards socialism any longer.

Pissant, 9 out of 10 Republican voters don’t even know who Duncan Hunter is, despite his excellent conservative patriot credentials, and the fact that he was a candidate in 2008. He simply doesn’t have a sizable footprint on the national stage.

If he’s not already recognized by the majority of Republican voters, there’s no way that he’ll have any chance of clinching the nomination in 2012.

I couldn’t care less about the conventional wisdom. Trust me, if he runs, he will have the right strategy. We’ll see how the millions of pissed off conservatives welcome another batch of RINOs this next time.

Better lower that to maybe 4 or 5 out of 10... He is better known than you say...
