...I am afraid Sarah Palin is going to harm herself unintentionally over this tea party convention in Nashville...
Let me be blunt: charging people $500.00 plus the costs of travel and lodging to go to a National Tea Party Convention run by a for profit group no one has ever heard of sounds as credible as an email from Nigeria promising me a million bucks if I fork over my bank account number...

What a hitjob.
And the banquet to see Palin is 350/plate...wife and I will be there
as someone who does this on occasion...that is cheap
The Most Popular Governor
Alaskas Sarah Palin is the GOPs newest star.
BY Fred Barnes July 16, 2007
Juneau
The wipeout in the 2006 election left Republicans in such a state of dejection that theyve overlooked the one shining victory in which a Republican star was born. The triumph came in Alaska where Sarah Palin, a politician of eye-popping integrity, was elected governor. She is now the most popular governor in America, with an approval rating in the 90s, and probably the most popular public official in any state."
And we Palin supporters need to quit insulting people if they aren't sure she's electable. It smacks of groupthink.
I think she can win in a landslide, but if others don't buy that two years out from the GOP primary it's no skin off my nose. I only have a problem with the folks who attack her and pretend she's some kind of lib or idiot.
So, other than missing her DISapproval of almost 42% by 3% in May of ‘09, what about my statement is incorrect? I specificaly asked for numbers 6 months AFTER her inaug because the first couple of months are usually not accurate.
All you’ve proven is my statement that Palinistas continually misrepresent her approval numbers as they do with her other history.
Did you even notice that the article by Barnes is from 2007? Why do I even have to point this out?
This is not a hit job. The writer thinks she made a mistake by agreeing to attend the convention. That’s all. Do you even know what a hit job is?
BTTT..
I would also point out that almost all if not all of the ethics cmomplaints against Palin began AFTER she was picked as the VP running mate...her numbers had already been in a precipitous 2 year decline so you can’t blame them.
What about Sarah had disenchanted the voters of Alaska so much?
GOES TO SHOW YOU WHAT INDOCTRINATION WILL DO FOR YA, AND REVISED AMERICAN HISTORY, AND THE DUMBING DOWN OF EDUCATION LET ALONE THE LESSEER OF TWO EVILS. ALL THESE FACTORS GAVE THE BUSHES THEIR RATINGS.
“Now youcan blame that on McCain if you want but there is no evidence Palin saved anything.”
Remember that Bob J is a little liberal, so he sees things a little differently than most conservatives.
According to a Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey, 69 percent of Republican voters say the Alaska governor helped McCains bid for the presidency. Twenty percent of GOP voters said she hurt the ticket, six percent said she had no effect, and 5 percent were undecided.
Other results of the poll:
91 percent of Republicans have a favorable view of Palin.
65 percent of Republicans have a very favorable view of Palin.
8 percent of Republicans have an unfavorable view of Palin.
3 percent of Republicans have a very unfavorable view of Palin.
64 percent of Republicans say Palin is their top choice for the GOP 2012 presidential nominee.
12 percent of Republicans say Mike Huckabee is their top choice for the GOP 2012 presidential nominee.
11 percent of Republicans say Mitt Romney is their top choice for the GOP 2012 presidential nominee.
Ixnay on the date of the Barnes article,
My next question would be why do you a your other ‘nistas continue to qoute a 2-3 year old article? Using your tactics I could claim Bush is the most popular president of all time, but it would be a lie, so I don’t do it.
Gee, that was quite reasonable, Mr Silverback. A tip of my hat.
Bob you are a troll, even after the constant assault that we are all familiar with (similar to what you do here), Governor Palin left office with a very good 56% approval rating, her reelection was assured if she chose.
Now a guy that you think is okay, Mitt Romney, left office with 34% approval ratings.
It's one thing to bring up some cogent arguments about why one has doubts about her electability. It's another thing altogether to merely repeat loony left propaganda from the State Run Media, without anything to back it up.
I have had it with the constant “she is not electable to the WH” from the anti-Palin bots, who have continued to repeat that same nonsense at least a thousands times in every Palin thread they can find. It's fast gotten old.
The fact of the matter is that the polls simply don't back them up, yet oblivious of the polls, or reality, they continue to spread as much disinformation as they can anyway
” It smacks of groupthink”
Nope.
The groupthink is the same bunch of small, but determined, anti-Palin fanatics, who continue to spew the same propaganda on every Palin thread they can find. And they tend to move in packs, and more often than not, ping each other to come spew out their same left wing talking points and attack anyone who takes them on. These are not the kinds of people to handle with kids gloves.
maybe you can 'splain it to me Lucy ....
Do YOU know anything about paid political events?
Let Wardaddy educate ya Miss:
Cost to have drinks with Dubya and Laura at Clay Jackson's Tyne Blvd estate here in Nashville in 2004...1200/each....dinner..25,000/couple
Cost to go to Mike Curb's Hillsboro road digs for drinks and crudites on Fred Thompson campaign...2007...1500/each
My dad was a Bush the Elder Pioneer...do you know what that is?....I can educate you on what that cost too if you'd like
or we can go back to Reagan...my folks paid dearly to go to those functions too
What the teaparties are charging to see Sarah and eat some grub is cheaper than usual to tell ya the truth...and I plan to be there...just for her the last day...not the dog and pony before that
Bob you are a troll, even after the constant assault that we are all familiar with (similar to what you do here), Governor Palin left office with a very good 56% approval rating, her reelection was assured if she chose.
Now a guy that you think is okay, Mitt Romney, left office with a 34% approval rating.
And any high-profile voice who is close to this movement is immediately looked upon as a demagogue...
The question was whether Palin “saved” the campaign of McCain and whether Palin is “the most popular Governor of all time”. So you post a poll take this last month?
BTW - Where did you get those mumbers because I can’t find them.
“Bob you are a troll, even after the constant assault that we are all familiar with (similar to what you do here), Governor Palin left office with a very good 56% approval rating, her reelection was assured if she chose.”
Uhh, when you start with 90+% that ain’t too good. I asked the question before but I doubt it wil be answered, what happened?
I can tell you what happened, Palin didn’t deliver on many of her promises. She promised to shrink the size of governemnet but her last (2nd..heheh) budget was 9% higher than the previous year.
Palin talks a good game but doesn’t deliver the goods. She’s all smoke and mirrors. Now some people like smoke and mirrors, I don’t.
He was a Lieutenant in Vietnam, and the reason that he never took off is the same reason that no one knew about him during the 28 years that he was a congressman, it was the same reason that he was barely known in California, it was the same reason that he never ran for the Senate, or the Governorship, he was meant to be a good conservative in a safe congressional district, not a national figure.
See that is why it is called trolling, your hatred for Palin drives you to post endless, trivial and misleading posts that waste people’s time and energies, the vanity threads you do on her are even worse.
Palin went from a fantastic 69% the day before the national media went after her to a very good 56% the day she resigned just over a year later, an enviable record.
Currently the average approval rate for republican governors is about 51% and the average for democrat governors is about 41% according to this weeks PPP report using 33 Governors that he could find current data on.
