Former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel.
The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the networks programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called War Stories.
Many suspected that when Ms. Palin retired as the governor of Alaska last summer she was doing so to pursue some sort of career in television. The Fox News deal, however, would not seem to be all encompassing, and would appear to give her room for other pursuits, as well.

HA HA HA
Shepard just had to announce with a smile that “Sarah Palin is coming to Fox News!”
Overexposure can be risky, but Palin is very likely to impress the low expectations crowd. The more she talks, the more people will realize she is intelligent and nothing like the lib media paints her.
As a matter of fact, she does! ;)
...no joy in Mudville tonight, for mighty CNN (CNBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC) has just struck out.
LOL
I’m think we’ll tune in to agree with Sarah. The left will tune in looking for errors.
CNN, crickets...
Perhaps they’ll do the wise thing and just go black while she’s on.
Great news. She will do very very well and pick up a good following.
NO, NO, NO. The law is the law. The last thing I would want is a boob like O Reilly making up his own view of morality as a judge. That is why we have laws, not kings.
I remember Scalia debating Breyer and Scalia, and Scalia pointed out how Breyer wakes up every day with the constitution being whatever he thinks it should that given day.
That is O Reilly thinking. "Who cares what the law says, I say he is guilty."
Is there a Palin analogy here or is this unrelated?
ROFL ROFL ROFL
They’re birthin’ unholy cows are they?
Never better said, Bellflower! You'd be amazed how far afield I go at 2 in the morning to find something else to watch when I can't sleep! Even the shoppping channel is better than RE.
...and in other news, Catty Scurvy has bitten off her tongue, and is currently sedated and resting in her Birkenstocks straight jacket, while Greg Gutfeld's cast chipped in to buy Ted Turner a Sonicare toothbrush.
Wonder if she’ll do a special on the “energy crisis” or maybe fill in for Beck, Hannity or O’Really. OTOH let her take on Combs or one of the other liberals head on head....Imagine the ratings!.....Good move by FOX.
She gets her message out without buying commercial space, infact she’ll be paid to advertise....Smart? You betcha, get er done Sarah!
Look, perhaps they can put on Gore or Kerry. They can bill it as the snooze news or something else catchy. Perhaps something like “You snooze, we NEWS.”
Roger Ailes loves her.
He’s given her the ultimate showcase!
Perhaps they could bill it as television’s only hour dedicated to renewing the human spirit, sleeping optional of course. LOL, as if...
LOL.
THat's the jacket she wore at her first campaign stop as VP candidate -- Cedarburg, WI, September 2008. I brushed fingertips with her as one of a crowd of 15,000 people in a town that lays claim to only about 8,000 people. She was wonderful!
Right on onyx. How long do you think it will take for the leftist main stream media to cry foul. Fox is only doing what they have done for decades. Tis is a shot across their bow. Albeit,I have an inkling that Fox just might be a tad fairer.
My guess is they don’t like her position on abortion the most. But the libs were tough on Hillary during the Obama primary too. Both a ‘threat to the One’.
I don’t think having 5 kids was the feminists model. Hillary had one and she got a master’s degree in something(sounds good anyways) . That is their model.
I was surprised to learn that her step father was one of Clinton's attorneys, but I can no longer remember which one. He could have been one of the one's that defended him during impeachment, or one of the ones who deported Elian Gonzalez, or one of the ones who fought Bush during the 2000 recount. Does anyone else know who this is? It really surprised me at the time because I generally like her, but it provided a reason as to why she seems off the deep end at times.
Just as long as they don’t make her dye her hair blonde.
