The political class of both our major parties has failed us.
They have failed to uphold, abide by, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
They have stretched and usurped their constitutional powers of government to the point that they openly declare that there are no practical constitutional limits on their power and they laugh and mock us when we ask where they find the constitutional authority to pass their subversive congressional acts such as ObamaCare.
They have made a mockery of the fundamental principles of the founding of our great republic, ie, that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain UNALIENABLE Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
They have completely destroyed the principle that our UNALIENABLE rights are a gift from God, not from man or government, and they are step by step stripping us of same.
They have completely destroyed the fact that the Constitution of the US is the fundamental law of the land and beyond defining the structure of our federal government and its lawful relationship to the sovereign states and the people, its overarching intent was to severely LIMIT the powers of the federal government to ONLY those powers actually enumerated.
They have completely destroyed, ignored, negated or nullified the scope and intent of the constitution and of the ninth and tenth amendments, denying us our rights and denying our sovereign states their constitutional powers and rights.
The Democrat party has become an openly Marxist/socialist party, and the Republican party has become a socialist-lite party which has been totally ineffective in fighting for our rights and in many cases has been just as guilty as the Marxist Democrats in stripping them from us.
The federal government is now on an all out anti-America, anti-capitalism, anti-business, anti-free-markets, anti-Liberty, anti-constitution Marxist rampage that is robbing us of our freedom, destroying our economy, destroying our wealth, bankrupting our businesses large and small, driving up unemployment and taxes, driving down the dollar, weakening our nation, enslaving our people and bankrupting our states and local governments.
And they're just getting started. President Obama and the Marxist Democrats aided and abetted by establishment RINO Republicans are pushing to destroy entire market segments and the industrial might of America through their radical anti-business, anti-free-market, anti-America energy and environmental policies and international treaties.
All of this has not gone unnoticed. The growing grassroots TEA Party movement has declared war against the unconstitutional galloping Marxist government. The media, the government, leaders of the political parties, and political pundits and naysayers everywhere have tried for a year now to IGNORE or downplay the TEA Party movement, but they can ignore us no more. The time for action has come.
As an independent member of the grassroots TEA Party movement I hereby declare my personal intention of voting out ALL incumbents at every level of government.
JUST VOTE THEM OUT IN 2010!!
Throw the bums OUT!!
It is beyond time for America to hit the reset button on the ruling class!!

That’s too funny that you just posted this! I’m on 24 hours of Staff Duty and I was just educating my runner on how the federal government, post 13’th Amendment/Civil War, has grown too large and that the 10’th Amendment limited the scope of the federal government. We also went over the OathKeepers website and he’s all for it! He was most surprised that the public school system never taught him about these things and that he’s going to look at things (in politics) in a whole new light.
I’ve been using that “When in the course of human events...” phrase a lot lately in talking to people.
The Declaration of Independence was a letter to the world at large explaining why we were justified in breaking away from England.
Now we see that we need to break away from our own government.
It is time for a new birth of freedom.
Seconded. We can no longer complacently vote Republican and think that it does our conservatism justice. I am wary of the dangers of 3rd party voting, but would be less so if there was a single truly conservative party that we the disgruntled could get behind. I think that if you made a suggestion, many of us in Freeperland would follow.
Either way, no more voting for a party that would stand by and let Barack HUSSEIN Obama stamp all over the constitution with his ineligibility and marxist plans.
This is a final attempt at a “do over” before a heated political battle becomes an actual fighting war for Liberty.
