There have been rumbles of unrest around the world regarding Obama’s nationality since the day he stated he would run for the presidency. Now, after more than a year as president of the USA, the rumbles have turned into a full on eruption.
The Barack Obama nationality scandal is refusing to burn itself out and seems to be gathering even more speed with Congressman Nathan Deal questioning the eligibility of Obama to hold the presidency. This is the first time in history that a serving president has been questioned about eligibility by a member of congress.
Over the last week the internet has been reporting this story with the blogosphere almost going into meltdown over the latest developments yet no mainstream media seem interested in the story that just won’t go away for Obama.
Congressman Deal asked the president to prove that he is legally entitled to hold the presidency electronically on December 1st 2009. This communication was confirmed received by Obama’s staff but has yet to be responded to.
Even though the president has already produced his short-form birth certificate in order to stop these questions, he has spent a large amount of taxpayers money (estimated to be more than two million dollars) ensuring that the long-form certificate is kept from the public – an action that has raised more than a few eyebrows along the way.
Throughout the campaign trail and longer, Obama made promises of the most transparent administration than any other so why the need to hide a simple birth certificate? Many claim that the whole situation is a complete waste of time and distracting but supporters of the question refuse to stop asking more and more questions.
It seems that the original question seems to have caused a stir not just in America but worldwide with thousands of people doing independent research in an attempt to get the facts out. The problem with independent research is that it is hard to verify where the alleged facts came from and when they are traced back its not unusual to find that it stemmed from opinion.
With several birth certificates doing the rounds, many proven as hoaxes, the ‘official’ birth certificate in the Obama nationality scandal seems to prove that the president was in fact a British Subject at birth. On the website dedicated to protecting Obama from smears, Fight The Smears, there is an electronic copy of the birth certificate showing that Obama was born a British Subject. This in itself has been the cause for much speculation on how, why and when nationality was transferred.
Obama’s nationality scandal doesn’t seem to be going anywhere at the moment and even the secret service seem to be taking an interest in anyone questioning Obama’s nationality with visits being made for security reasons. Reported last week at Mother Jones, more and more people who have raised issue are being visited by the secret service and being left feeling very intimidated.
No matter what side of the fence you sit on this scandal seems set to stay around for a long time to come.
Either 1) she was given a prepared script from RAT lawyers who know darned well that terminology isn't in the Constitution but found it useful to confuse the sheeple, 2) she's an idiot who has no idea what she's talking about, or 3) both.

I have heard him say to a child who asked him during a visit to the school that he was born in Hawaii. He has refused to say where in Hawaii. Why?
There is a letter that was used to raise money for the Kapiolani hospital which says “the place of my birth.” It has Barack Obama’s signature. He refuses to confirm that he signed that letter. Why?

You make it your matter on these eligibility thread. Why does Obama not show his birth certificate to a court? Obama doesn't have anything to hide - right? You cannot answer that question with any credibility, instead you play word games.

You can ask (as well as others) but it doesn't mean you're going to get the answers... and that's just the way things work in real life.
It's not a big issue with the larger majority of the voting electorate and you (as a group) don't have enough "political pull" to demand it. That's all that counts in matters where something is not strictly and legally required, and that's the case here.
As I've said, we've already got the pronouncement from the State of Hawaii in regards to his birthplace, and as far as the "parents issue" -- that will have to be something that is settled (as a point of contention, between opposing sides of the issue) by a Supreme Court decision (again, another "fact of life").
If you can't live with those "facts of life" -- then there's not too much I can do for you or anyone else in that position...
I prefer the simple solution of getting the birth certificate shown, by getting states to enact a law requiring a candidate to produce it or else he cannot be on the ballot.
And as far as the "parents issue" (in regards to Obama and his qualifications), I'm content to wait for a Supreme Court decision. If you can speed up that Supreme Court decision on the matter, well.... be my guest and certainly do so... :-)

Polls show that 51% of Republicans and 30% of the general population do not believe that Obama was born in the U.S. These percentages would be higher still those who had questions or doubts were added to the total.
There is **NO** possible way that the Dems and Repubs can tip toe around that great big stinking carcass in the road on the way to the elections.
This issue is not going away. As Obama’s popularity drops like a lead sinker ( now at -17) these percentages with doubts and questions about Obama’s eligibility will increase

Quite frankly, the mental health of our president is of concern to me. We have all known for a long time that he suffers from chronic NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder). I have always considered NPD to be something akin to incest. That is, it's OK as long as you keep it in the family! Unfortunately, Mr. Obama is flaunting his NPD globally, and that's definitely not a good sign.
In addition, it is starting to become obvious that Mr. Obama also is tragically afflicted with the dreaded malignancy only recently identified as AOS! AOS stands for ARROGANT OPAQUENESS SYNDROME and, according to my studies, it can actually progress to the very rare condition known as PTP (Premature Termination of Presidency).
As Dr. Jekyll turned into Mr. Hyde, so has Mr. Transparency morphed into Mr. Opaqueness!
You are correct in stating that Mr. Obama does not actually HAVE TO release his BC, at least not until someone like Leo Donofrio can convince a judge to allow it to be subpoenaed under discovery in an appropriate court case.
However, a lot of concerned people, including both Democrats and Republicans, conservatives and liberals are getting fed up with this obvious obfuscation and won't be putting up with this crap from Obama for 3 more years!

When contacted, Chandoo said that he would not comment about his relations with his “friend”. According to The Times, he has donated the maximum, $2,300, to Obama’s primary campaign and an additional $309 for the general elections. During the speech, Obama said that because of his trip to Pakistan, “I knew what Sunni and Shia was, before I joined the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.” During his years at Occidental College, Obama also befriended Wahid Hamid, a fellow student who was an immigrant from Pakistan and travelled with Obama there, the Obama campaign said. Hamid is now a vice president at PepsiCo in New York, and according to public records, has donated the maximum $2,300 to the Obama campaign and is listed as a campaign fundraiser. Hamid was not available for comment as he is travelling abroad, his office said.
The simple truth is that by Obama’s own numerous accounts there are different versions of the purported truth as to whether his mother was an atheist , an agnostic, or a deeply spiritual person who provide Obama with religious reading material from various religions. Why has the press not looked further into this bundle of contradictions from the printed words of Dreams of My Father to Obama’s own public statements and his campaign’s inconsistent responses to press inquires. The critical question to be answered is not whether Obama is now a Christian as opposed to being a Muslim, but whether Obama was ever a Muslim, as numerous friends and teachers have unequivocally indicated before Obama announced his candidacy for President in February 2007.
Obama should be called to publicly dispute the credible evidence indicating that Obama is a Muslim apostate because Obama himself, as well as his campaign website have made it an issue by publicly proclaiming,
“Obama Has Never Been A Muslim, And Is a Committed Christian.“
Obama’s previously undisclosed and unrevealed trip to Karachi and to Hyderabad are troubling in light of Obama’s Dreams of My Father accounts of a Muslim heritage and the unbiased reporting of Los Angeles Times Djakarta Bureau Chief Paul Watson’s on site investigation of Obama’s prior practice of Islam reported in the March 16, 2007 edition of the Los Angeles Times. There Watson wrote:
” Obama’s campaign aides have emphasized his strong Christian beliefs and downplayed any Islamic connection. The Illinois senator was raised ‘in a secular household in Indonesia by his stepfather and mother,’ his chief spokesman, Robert Gibbs, said in a statement in January after false reports began circulating that Obama had attended a radical madrasa, or Koranic school, as a child. “
‘To be clear, Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ in Chicago,’ Gibbs’ Jan. 24 [2007] statement said.
In a statement to The Los Angeles Times on Wednesday[March 14, 2007], the campaign offered slightly different wording, saying: ‘Obama has never been a practicing Muslim.’ The statement added that as a child, Obama had spent time in the neighborhood’s Islamic center.”

Obama visited Pakistan in 1981 NEW YORK: Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has cited a 1981 visit to Pakistan while he was a college student in a bid to counter rivals’ accusations that he lacks foreign policy experience.
He spoke of his trip to Pakistan while speaking to supporters at a fund-raiser in San Francisco on Sunday night, according to a dispatch in The New York Times on Thursday.
In 1981, Obama visited his mother and sister Maya in Indonesia and then travelled to Pakistan. According to Obama, he was in Karachi for about three weeks and then visited Hyderabad in India.

And what we have here, as usual, is someone saying that because they think it's meaningless (in regards to the answer) that everyone else should think the same way that they do.
And we run into that same problem that all of the Obama Derangement Syndrome constantly have in struggling with "reality" -- is that the greater mass of the voting public (and that's conservatives and liberals) just don't agree with you.
What does that mean, in relation to the problem you have here (that you keep posting about)?

All that I'm doing and all that you're doing -- which is yapping on these threads -- has no bearing in what is going to be the "determining factor" in regards to the issue of Obama's qualifications as pertains to his parents. The only determining factor here, regardless of all your posting and all my posting -- is that nothing happens. The only time "something happens" with this issue (in regards to his parents affecting his eligibility) is when the Supreme Court opens its mouth on the issue.
So, I dont make it "my matter" in terms of being a "determining factor" and neither do you make it (no matter what you say) a determining factor.
We're just discussing here and nothing more...
