I recall when the media played up Obama with a NUMBER of Superman related cover photos.
And when they made the new Superman, Perry White says something like “truth justice and all that stuff”, largely to please international audiences

Over at the DUmmies site they actually locked the thread that linked to this video. The source was, “questionable”. It’s a video of Obama lying is arse off so I would have to agree, it is questionable behavior.

He won't demand that congress televise the negotiation, because he doesn't want the people to know what is going on.
The number of excuses for Obama is inexhaustible.
"If the people could see the negotiations, the bill would not pass." The ends justify the means. Really? I hate both.
"We can't expect Obama to be perfect."
"We have been debating this for 2 years." The Heritage Foundation says this is like not televising the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl.
"When he made that promise in the campaign, he didn't know how hard it would be to keep." This is a rephrasing of Machiavelli's "The promise given was a necessity of the past: the word broken is a necessity of the present."

Apparently they have concluded that the truth is a political loser, and politics is all that matters.

I got a few freepers mad at me (very unusual LOL) when I gave Pelosi credit for the crappy stimulus and said Obama was a passenger in that process (yes, we can blame Obama since he promoted it publically!) but I agree with DDDfD that Obama is directing the final passage of this Health Reform bill. And he knows they cant have cameras or it wouldnt pass. Obama needs a bill passed and immediately #1 priority.
I can see some similarity with GWB and Obama. Bush managed to infuriate both the left and right at times, but Obama isn’t wasting any time doing it!
And said, "Hurry up and vote before the public knows what's in it" (like he always does) and then signed it. So I agree we can blame Obama as well.
I blame Bush for the crapo he signed and took credit for, so I certainly will do the same for Obama.

Well, I don’t necessarily disagree with your post regarding the two party dynamics, but this is more about who is actually pulling the strings on the left. At least that was the question as I saw it.
That is why my theory is so important. It's Pelosi, Obama and Reid betraying ‘the left’ to get a health reform bill passed. Like Bush sold us out to get no child left behind.
Public plan out ala Obama
Private school vouchers out ala Bush
And both parties were telling their base, this is better than doing nothing, It was better for only the political Parties, not us.
Stimulus was different, they had almost a blank check, so house liberals and three RINOs wrote that bill.
