I just watched Obama's speech about the Christmas day bomber. He did not use the eye level teleprompters. I also noticed that he did not use them for the speeches he gave from Hawaii. He appeared to be using a prompter in the podium. You could see him looking down to read but he did not turn any pages.
I assume that he has taken so much grief (and rightly so) for his teleprompter that he is trying to change. He is not doing a good job. His looking down to read makes him loose eye contact with the audience. It also causes him to stumble.

I predict he’ll have teleprompters surgically implanted in his nappy head.
Yes, he has a podium with built-in teleprompter. I guess he got embarrassed from the jokes about his not being able to talk or give a speech without the teleprompter.
It travels with him everywhere he goes, I’ll bet. Probably takes an extra C-17 to haul it around

I listened very carefully to his speech and this is my analysis:
Reading out loud & stumbling on words & trying to figure out how to string them together within the first 10 words .
Once the bamster was able to string 10 words together because HE DOESN”T SEE THE SPACING BETWEEN EACH WORD he has difficulty articulating the first 10;thereafter making any impact upon reading the last part of the sentence FLOWING into a paragraph makes no sense at all because it’s just words and there is no continuance or nuance. His delivery is affected thusly and drags along without empathy because, obviously, someone else wrote them & can’t make heads or tails of the whole shebang

I think we have pretty well established on FR that Obama has had some kind of skull/brain surgery.
For what, we don’t yet know...or when.
Perhaps it effects his reading/speaking ability.
