I gave money to Brown last week.
Why? Because the RNC is AWOL on this important election.
This could change the balance of power in the Senate. Where could a few dollars now have such a huge impact for America?

My God No! The libertarian is named Kennedy. Joe Kennedy. Stupid Dems will go into the booth and think they are voting for one of the anointed.
The republicans need to make sure that they take their wives, moms and dads, and anyone else who can pull the right lever to the polls.
With his single vote, we can derail Obama Care. We CAN DO IT. We need a groundswell of people working with us.
Send him money. I did. And aside from FR, I dont send anyone money.
If Brown does win there will be screams for a recount and every stalling maneuver they can think of to keep him from being seated.
The best part of him winning will be watching Reid’s face when he seats him.
I wonder if it’s close what excuse the dems will use to refuse it to him, you just know it won’t be a smooth transition.

The Rasmussen poll includes only likely voters, but in a special election it may be necessary to screen voters even further. From the Rasmussen release:
"Special elections are typically decided by who shows up to vote and it is clear from the data that Brown’s supporters are more enthusiastic. In fact, among those who are absolutely certain they will vote, Brown pulls to within two points of Coakley. That suggests a very low turnout will help the Republican and a higher turnout is better for the Democrat."
If Scott Brown is behind by 50%-41% among likely voters, but only behind by 2% among absolutely certain voters, I would guesstimate that Coakley is leading by about 50%-45% among those that will actually vote on January 19. Brown is within striking distance of Coakley, and can still pull this off.
The reality is that with the possible exceptions of New Jersey and Maryland and maybe California there are really very few true BLUE states on deck for 2010 or even 2012. I have heard from several in California that "Babs" Boxer and Diana Slimestein might be in real trouble, this time out. Maybe there is a resurgent Reaganism to be had in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia? I hope so!
I’m from Massachusetts and I find this poll very, very encouraging - Coakley is the AG and has been in the news a lot over the last few years - Brown is a state senator - virtually unknown a couple of months ago....

And the Democrats are evil--they are the enemy of freedom. They have claimed Massachusetss lock, stock, and barrel as their own for entirely too long--yet it was the birthplace of American freedom.
If Martha Coakley is only polling 50%, she’s in BIG trouble! She is WELL known in this state, and should have been a shoe-in as the Dem. candidate, if folks were motivated to get out and vote. It’s entirely possible that Scott Brown could pull it out, since the Republican voters seem MUCH more motivated than the Dems. Heck, there are probably a lot of typical Dem voters that aren’t paying attention at all, because it’s not the normal time for an election. And I’m truly hoping that some knee-jerk Dems vote for Joe Kennedy, hoping that the ‘legacy’ will continue. ;o)
I saw Scott’s ad last night which begins with an old film of JFK talking about tax cuts helping businesses and the economy, and it’s fades out and shows Scott continuing the comments, and it makes it clear that Scott is conservative, like JFK, in regards to the economy, and what needs to be done to revive it. Good message here in MA, where JFK is like a secular saint. Of course, I’m sure the ad infuriates the Dems, but as the Russians say, tuffski!

I am originally from Massachusetts and have spent considerable time learning the state’s history. Massachusetts is the home of the original “shining city on a hill.” Massachusetts was the home of Sam Adams and his committees of corespondence and later the valiant minutemen and continental soldiers who gave blood for our freedom. It was an overweight bookstore owner, Henry Knox, who led his team over a frozen landscape and a distance of 200 miles each way to Fort Ticonderoga so he could present General Washington with the artillery needed to kick the British out of Boston. Massachusetts citizens led the fight for abolition so that enslaved people could be free. Later, some of those citizens became soldiers in blue who gave their red blood for the same cause. In the 20th century many of Massachusett’s finest gave their service and blood to stop tyranny in Europe and Asia. In peace time these same men and women built the state that we have now.
Unfortunately, the good news and strong foundation has been under attack ever since. Soulless politicians have bought their lifetime jobs on the backs of taxpayers. Many have become lazy and demand endless government benefits with no thought as to how anything will be paid for. The bottom line is that the wonderful heritage bequeathed to bay staters has been squandered. I believe that the culture of Massachusetts has been permanently ruined. It would be nice if Brown picks up Kennedy’s seat, but it will matter little in the long term. My advice for any younger Massachusetts citizens is to get out as soon as possible. Why waste your life?
I still think Cloakley will likely pull it off, only because it’s Masshole and while fifty percent is rather weak for an incumbent, especially during a special election, this is still Masshole we’re talking about. Brown could win and should win, but it’s Masshole.

LOL! I'm sure hoping that happens!! Can you imagine the howls of outrage from the Dems, if Scott Brown wins because of some HUGH mistake like that?
I would be willing to bet that is going to happen in some instances...
