Executive Order -- Amending Executive Order 12425 EXECUTIVE ORDER - - - - - - - AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words "except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act" and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.

To put things into perspective: Executive Order #12425 allows INTERPOL the absolute authority to investigate, charge, and imprison, and extradite Americans—without having to adhere to the same constitutional laws that American law enforcement agencies are required to abide by. Additionally, the International Criminal Police Organization is authorized to conduct covert surveillance and investigations on American soil—with full immunities from US law.
Laws such as the Freedom of Information Act, Congressional oversight, Constitutional protections, and without oversight from the FBI who is charged with the responsibility of internal national Security.
It also allows INTERPOL, wherever and by whomever to be immune from search, confiscation, and INTERPOL isn’t required to show proof or any other documentation concerning its investigations. It also means that INTERPOL can conduct covert operations against Americans without any accountability to anyone.

The Constitution is meaningless, just like ethics are meaningless to a true liberal.

I feel the same way. She should at least get equal treatment to that of male former governors by Conservatives, even if our enemies the Democrats/Media don’t accord her respect.

Beat me to it. And the answer is “yes.”
I have often remarked that this country required a serious wake-up call from its periodic idiotic dalliances with leftist “leaders” and suggested that we needed a dedicated Marxist in the White House to rub our noses in the REAL DEAL. We got one with Obama and he may prove to be the best thing that ever happened to the cause of freedom here.
While making that suggestion, my fingers were crossed. On one hand, I feared that the majority of modern-day, government schooled folk and welfare leeches would come to embrace Marxist philosophy and practice and America — the IDEA — would come to an end. On the other hand, I held out hope that my fellow citizens would reject this alien ideology and rebel in a demonstrable way. I thank God that the latter is happening as I write this. The anger and outrage are palpable to even the hard-core leftists now infesting the White House. Barring some catastrophe — which malignant Machiavellians like Rahm “A crisis is too good to waste” Emanuel are fully capable of orchestrating — they will be shown the gate at the next election.
But what has puzzled me most through the run-up to this point (with some notable exceptions of which Georgia’s Dr. Broun and Dr. Price are but two) – is this: WHERE ARE THE PRINCIPLED MEN — REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS ALIKE — WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN STANDING UP TO THIS GUY?? In order that they might avoid the tough questions inherent in governing this nation, have they shipped so much of THEIR power down Pennsylvania Avenue that they are now AFRAID to reclaim it? Why has it fallen to Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, Rep. Bachmann, Glenn Beck, Rush, Boortz and a handful of others – in Washington and without — to do the job of those we elected to office – and swore an oath — to guard the Constitution from “...all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC?” They have largely been MIA!
And, while they have been missing, Obama has appointed more czars than the Russians had through their entire history. I asked Chambliss and Isakson (REPUBLICANS from Georgia) if they were just a tad worried that Obama was forming a politbureau here to replace THEM. I’m still waiting for a response that makes sense.
And one final thought as we look forward to replacing the Marxist-n-Thief come 2012: What sort of people have we elected when a small, attractive mother from Alaska named Sarah has BIGGER CAJONES than the alleged MEN now warming seats and wasting expensive space on that hill at the eastern end of Pennsylvania Avenue?
I’m just asking the question we all should be asking.

One more step towards 2012 becoming The Year of the Rifle.
Target carries a slightly higher quality of merchandise although most is same old - same old. A can of beans from green giant is a can of green beans, and a CD is a CD, etc. The only differences IMHO are in cloths, jewelry and furniture, and I don't shop for that at Target or Wal-Mart. So while I agree, Wal Mart is still the better deal for me in most instances when shopping for the generic staple foods, motor oil, etc.
Many of the mom and pop shops went under because they didn't adapt. Where they can compete is by offering specialized products and services a large generic store like Wal Mart can't effectively do. Offer service (i.e. sales people that know something, are available, and plentiful) which the pure budget low balling Wal Mart can't provide.
If I'm a bicycle shop, fitness/grocery store, pharmacy, or sell glasses, I can survive with a Wal Mart in town, “IF” I try to offer something in the form of a product and service outside the realm of where I have to compete with a generic substitutable product on a pure cost comparative aspect. Wal Marts’ business model/marketing is one that makes them the low cost answer in nearly anything, but they are generic (Can be found anywhere), low quality (lowest bidder, low end models, etc), poor service (sales people know nothing and not enough, can't do any repairs or real service), made in China...........
The mom and pop bicycle shop that repairs bikes, modifies them, sells specialized and high end bikes, has sales personnel that know their stuff, they survived.......but those trying to sell the Huffy at $150 when the same bike can be bought in a Wal Mart for $89, they went out of business.

Please DO NOT misunderstand my reasons for producing these two videos. If folks want to gather together to let “them” know that “we,” like Howard Beal in “Network” are “…mad as hell and not going to take it any more…,” it’s STILL – for the time being anyway – a relatively free country so we can do that.
All I’m saying here is that, especially in tough economic times, there are more EFFICIENT and EFFECTIVE ways to expend our FINITE RESOURCES.
It’s not as much fun as sweating on the Mall but there IS a better – and less costly — way to scare hell out of “them” — and you won’t even have to leave home.

Sir, I must say that this is a brilliant analysis of the economic effects of a Wal Mart on its surrounding competitors.
There is exactly such a bicycle store in my area that survived using methods that you described. They had a small selection of the most basic bikes, but the majority of its selection was hi-end, incredibly expensive mountain bikes. The price range of some of these bikes, which were the kind that you race down steep mountain trails with, was from 6,000 to 10,000 dollars. Never have I seen such fine bikes. Surely, such a bike could not be purchased from the local Wal Mart, thus this business survived, and it thrives this very day.
Please- can we have a constitutional scholar weigh in?
