No but I had to rescue the ribbon from him many times.
When he decided to sit among the tissue paper, I just shifted to something that didn’t require it.
My husband had all the shopping responsibility this year, I didn’t get out once.

Actually it sounded like a bomb strike.
But it was just a winter storm.

This day, over 2000 years ago, God was made man....the Messiah, the Son of the living God, came into our human realm to save us...humble and meek...and to serve...to make us one with the Father once again....all by God's grace and by His love....
Sometimes I forget how all that transpires is in God's hands....it is our Father's plan...not your's..nor mine....tonight I take comfort in that thought...
May we all find God's peace this very evening and through the days to come...Merry Christmas....

I remember Christmas Eve night back in 1990 out in the sand dunes of Saudi Arabia. Had no Christmas Trees but what we could get our hands on to make a Charlie Brown Tree, lol.
Remember all of us Troops going through Tent City singing Christmas Carols...what a moment that was.
Yes, Jesus Christ is born to die for our sins..yours and mine!
Praise God!

Merry Christmas, Meg, to you and yours. Thanks for "Mary, Did You Know?"
A couple years ago I saw, on tv, Mark and his Mom sing it.

Thank you for this Christmas gift, Kathy. I clicked on the Mater Dolorosa choir in Holyoke Mass singing Gesu Bambino for a trip down memory lane. My grandparents lived in a tenement next door to that church on Lyman Street—both their funerals were held there many years ago. I remember as a very young child peeking out thru the slats on their piazza and seeing the nuns in their black habits strolling the grounds—very mysterious and a bit scary.
That was before World War II—and our troops are still fighting and on duty all over the world, keeping us safe here to enjoy yet another Christmas. May God Bless them and all their families and loved ones and keep them safe. We are blessed.
Spent a month in Alaska 12 years ago—in fact, stayed in Wasilla one night and also in Homer, right on Kachemak Bay under a full moon—truly God’s country! A month was not long enough!

Palm trees wave, are you listenin'? In the pool, water's glistenin' A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight Livin' in a desert wonderland.
Gone away is the blizzard, Here to stay is the lizard, A warm sunny day, we like it that way, Livin' in a desert wonderland.
In the desert we will have a picnic, Cactus, sand, rattlesnakes and sun. Christmas dinner is an old tradition, It's pinto beans and tacos by the ton.
Later on we'll perspire, Temperatures rise even higher, A warm sunny day, we like it that way, Livin' in a desert wonderland.
