Throughout my life I’ve never looked at our Government, and had questions such as I have today. Our Government always seemed to reflect America.
I look at the current Executive Branch of our Government, and I look at the current Legislative Branch of our Government, and I wonder where it is I can find America.
It doesn’t seem to be represented by this Government.

I am a big fan of Alexander Cockburn because of his panache in writing. He took up the subject of Copenhagen this weekend at http://counterpunch.org/cockburn12182009.html in a piece titled “Turning Tricks, Cashing In on Fear.” The following are two paragraphs from that link:

But the CRU emails graphically undermine the claim of the Warmers – always absurd to those who have studied the debate in any detail – that they commanded the moral high ground. The American people need to have the resolve to see the correction of this ALL the way to the end.
We can no longer be apathetic and unfortunately we are going to need to lead a true capitalistic movement across the globe and we need to crush these weak fascists - COMPLETELY. If we don’t we are just pushing the problem on a future generation.
First of all, the subject matter of this and Lord Moncton being assaulted is absolutely DISGUSTING and DISTURBING. However, to post something like that which seems like pages of a run-on sentence are very difficult to read. Was this on purpose? CO
I had never heard of several of these names until I watched Jesse Ventura's 'Conspiracy Theory' show on Global Warming.
There's another name not mentioned above..Ben Santer, apparently the righthand man for Maurice Strong.
I know what you think of Ventura, I do too, but watch that show on Global Warming.
