I'll toss out an 'out of the box' idea.

Instead of swamping our elected representatives with phone calls and mail, which obviously is being ignored, lets instead put our creditors on notice that we do not intend to honor any debts not incurred by others. Maybe form letters and legal notices to every one in China???

Yes. I bought so very little this year that it’s hard to spend less yet I am returning a couple of things today, just because I am so p*ssed off. The family will not miss the extras.

An MSM weather guy said last night that we in the west ‘owe it to retailers’ to spend a LOT out here this weekend since retailers will lose a lot of sales due to storms in the east.
