The SENATE MAJORITY LEADER’S OFFICE JUST HUNG UP ON ME!

Then be thankful that was all that happened. Before long you even think about expressing any opposition and you'll be getting a knock on the door.

" Well, my suggestion is that we call for volunteers to assemble in each and every state and rotate in and out and supply about 200,000 people from each state (200,000 X 50 states = 10,000,000 people) carrying lit torches and pitchforks and we protest noisily outside the White House, the Capitol building, and every congressional office building and major federal building in DC 24 hours per day seven days per week for as long as it takes. Shut ‘em down. Make it impossible for them to work. And do it simultaneously in each state capitol and local congressional office. Call it a nationwide citizen’s first amendment strike against government tyranny. "

GREAT IDEA!!!!

FREEDOM !!!!!

It’s all the inevitable march of nationalism and central control. There’s no way to stop them. You can only slow them down. Or else wait until the system collapses under the weight of its own debt. And then, whatever you do, don’t vote for another national Constitution.

I’ve been thinking and talking to my neighbors about maybe putting a class action lawsuit together if and when this bill becomes law. Can anyone give me any ideas how we can go about this?

We lose the first, assemble for the the second.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

How about marching with openly visible arms.

These guys are deaf. They need to be reminded that the Second Amendment is there for a purpose.

I got a mess of 7.5 X 55 in yesterday, the K-31 is my long range favorite. It is the prettiest piece of machine work in the world to boot! It is now easier to feed some of the obscure weapons than it is the common ones, there is less demand for the ammo. I would just about as soon have a Winchester M-94 as an SKS, I don’t believe in pray and spray.

Pay down your debt. And make sure you live below your means.

Only if you hide your money from Uncle Scam.

They are supposed to represent those who elect them. That’s what a representative Republic is.

It doesn't mean they have to do what the majority wants. Our system is designed in part to thwart the will of the majority (of regular people.) Regular people, so republican theory goes, are too passionate, self-interested, and stupid to be reliable. Hence, we are not a democracy. And so we have representatives (elites) who are a check on the people. Thats how they drew it up. Don't blame me. I'd dump the Constitution if it were up to me.

They represent us by serving in office. Find anywhere in the Constitution that they must vote with the majority of their constituents. It ain't there. They don't have to di it.

They are not elected to rule over us.

Yes they are. Not alone. They have to share their rule with two other branches, and their fellow senators, but they have their piece of Constitutional power, which is the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND. And they have to face elections once in a while. But while they are there, they most definitely rule over us. SUPREME LAW. If that ain't ruling, what is?

The constitution is sound. You’ve just got to use it.

The whole thing is designed to provide maximum freedom for the people and to restrict government to its severely limited powers. Now it’s natural for the government to try to force their way into grabbing more and more power as time goes by, but it’s just as natural for a free people to use their God-given rights to resist. And to resist forcefully when necessary.

It’s all laid out clearly, historically and legally in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

When the government willfully ignores or tries to skirt around the constitution, it is the duty of the PEOPLE to ENFORCE it.

Rveolution now! I am as mad as I have ever been at taxation without representation. My two senators will vote against it but there are only 40 Republicans. Sixty Democrats are cramming this down our throats. I say, it’s time to take up arms and force our will on THEM. This is not Iran. This is not Russia. This is not Cuba or Venezuela. These little dictators are forcing this on us against our will. Someone must do something radical to force them to stop this madness.

You haven’t read statements by the Founding Fathers have you. You are giving government powers that it doesn’t have. And we are done.
