Democrats Secure 60 Votes on Health Bill

WASHINGTON--Senate Democratic leaders said Saturday morning they have secured the 60 votes needed to ensure passage of health overhaul legislation after reaching agreement with Sen. Ben Nelson to address his concerns with the bill's handling of abortion.
"Every Democrat realized...we had to get it done," said Sen. Charles Schumer, a New York Democrat who helped broker the final deal.
Sen. Nelson, a Nebraska Democrat, told reporters Saturday he intends to vote for the legislation.

you are outraged that Senate leaders are forcing their secret
bill to a final vote.
--Tell them you oppose ObamaCare and urge them to vote "NO" on

--Tell them you oppose the unconstitutional "individual mandate"
and the oppressive taxes in the plan.

Senator Ben Nelson stands in the eye of the storm in the Health Care Reform Bill Debate. What an exceptional man! We all admire and respect his fortitude and resolution.
It's a time to reflect on the historical fact that a Virgin, years ago, gave birth to a child who still impacts our society today. Anyone who believes in Christ celebrates Christmas. And today, we have a man standing up for the right of that very child to be born. This is a very inspiring time that we are living in. I hope and pray, as I know you volunteer patriots do, that he prevails.
