So it seems like Hanoi John, (hey John, some of us are still waiting for you to issue your military release form)... has come to a conclusion that he is needed more in the Capital for the next week then for him to help champion his global warming support in Copenhagen Denmark. I am sure he is not concerned that his wife and himself might freeze their what ever off as the temperatures will plunge in that city in the next few days. Perhaps he might be worried she might freeze to death if they are caught in a blizzard or their limo was to crap out as the temps dropped into the low teens, as she slugged away on the bottle and slowly let all her heat out. Then again. If she kicks the bucket. Surely he is in store for millions and millions.... then again. Maybe not. Anyway. It seems like as usual anytime the going gets tough, Hanoi John finds excuses to part from the scene.

It's time for the world environmental movement to demand teleconferencing replace all international assemblies due to the emissions incurred through events like the Copenhagen, the G-20, the UN, etc. Obama could have set an example by accepting his Nobel Prize electronically rather than invade Northern Europe with a fleet of jets carrying him and his entourage. The same formula could be applied to the U.S. Congress. They could stay in their states and districts while legislating via teleconferencing. The transportation and housing savings would be large not to mention curtailing the culture of elitism that has grown around living in DC.
