The couple have spent ten years refurbishing a large, rather plain building in the Liverpool suburb of Aintree, hoping to run a ‘boutique’ guest house in accordance with their own deeply felt Christian beliefs.
Last week, they were cleared of insulting a Muslim guest when high-profile ‘hate crime’ allegations were thrown out by a judge to public applause. But, faced with £400,000 of debt and the wreckage of a business they say has been all but destroyed by the controversy, there has been little celebration for Ben and Sharon – just bewilderment at the way they have been treated.
The experience has left them questioning their faith in the police, in the Crown Prosecution Service and in a British establishment that seems bent on protecting all manner of rights and sensitivities. Unless, that is, you are a church-going Christian.
It has done little to improve their confidence in the way their case was handled to learn that Detective Constable Tracy O’Hara, 
the officer who played a leading role in the prosecution for the unusual crime of religiously aggravated harassment and took charge of their interrogation, is a leading light in the Merseyside Police Gay And Lesbian Support Network.

It's so nice of the detective to lead the charge to instill Sharia Law, where she'll be one of the very first to be arrested, tried, convicted, and executed (probably by being stoned to death). If there's an entry in the dictionary or encyclopedia for "Useful Idiot," her photo should be at the start!

My wife and son were harassed daily for acknowledging that they were Christians while they worked for the Siemens corporation in Columbus Ohio. The muslims would gang up on them when they were alone in areas of the warehouse and hound them with questions about why they are christians and and question about the bible. As good christians should they did their best to answer tactfully and briefly since it was on company time. Shortly after they were reprimanded for evangelizing at work. Then when the election time came around they were asked daily who they would vote for, when they refused to answer they were then daily berated and harassed for being Mccain supporters.They would chant “Obama-Obama” as they left work and Obama stickers were put on my sons car. After this the muslims and others began to make up stories that my wife was racially insensitive,that my son was insubordinate and they were both soon fired. We filed a suit with the EEOC, Siemens denied all the chargers and the suit was rejected. Yes folks its happening here in America too.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to insult you, because I am certain there are some cases that are real and they are obviously genuinely painful.
But when I lived in California, fibromyalgia was a virtual epidemic among leftist women who wanted attention (who also usually considered themselves chemically sensitive, allergic to deodorants, etc.). My observation in California was that it was mostly a name doctors used for non-specific aches and pains that didn’t relate to any physical ailment. BTW, that doesn’t mean they can’t be quite severe, of course, regardless of their cause.
So my apologies to you and all people who really have this disease. I would still suspect that the Muslim convert who caused all of this trouble was one of the California-hippie types, though; she sounds like she has gone through life trying to get attention and trying to appear a victim.

I was laid off from a company where the “leadership” is into New Age religion. I had worked there for over 6 years and in Aug. they laid me off. They claimed it was due to the “economy” but there were other factors that later came to light and my belief system was one of them.
They believe that God is anything you want him to be and that it is all about “energy”. They believe that my “energy” didn’t fit with their belief system. (They didn’t lay off someone who has stolen from the company and been caught.)
My attitude has always been positive, I work hard and I did my job. I also had seniority, I was with the company since it started. It completely shocked me, I didn’t see it coming.

They knew the magic muslim was on their side...no doubt about it...the sooner we rid ourselves of this jerk and his skank wife in the W/H. the better.

My heartfelt advice to you Freedom is to not take an insult where none was intended towards you. I believe the poster was just expressing his opinion in general towards malingerers he has observed that claim to have fibromylagia. Not you personally.

Sorry that I was so rude earlier, it is just that I know how much it hurts and is real.
BTW, in a lot of cases chemical sensitivity and some allergies are helped by treatment for fibromyalgia. I had trouble with smells giving me headaches and making me sick until I started treatment. Allergies aren't any better, though.
I don't think fibromyalgia has a single cause, though, some have special hypothyroidism needs that have to be diagnosed by an endocrinologist.
There are probably other causes, too.
Oh, another possible cause is that the brain is interpreting all sensations as pain and hyper doing it.
I was just thinking of all those who are still in horrible pain reading that and getting even more depressed or feeling hopeless.
