Mucinex and Probiotics. I was an unbeliever, didn't think it would work but it did. Takes a few weeks and for those few weeks the pain can get worse but then it's gone.
I don't think fibromyalgia has a single cause, though, some have special hypothyroidism needs that have to be diagnosed by an endocrinologist.
There are probably other causes, too.
