Her choppy blue-and-blond hair hiding the fear in her eyes, a 15-year-old voiced her dislike for a hip-hop music group and got punched in the face by a classmate. The whole thing was caught on tape, and social media helped police in their investigation.
A crowd of six to 10 classmates were following the self-described emo girl and her boyfriend home from school in Newark, Ohio, on an autumn day in September. Some kids were taping it and others were egging on the assailant, who was on the school wrestling team. It all started because Alexis Xanders doesn't like Insane Clown Posse.
One of the students who recorded the incident contacted Xanders on MySpace and sent her the video two months later. The teen says she wanted something done, so she uploaded the video to YouTube and CNN iReport last week.
While only six to 10 people witnessed the alleged assault, the video has received more than 1,000 views on CNN iReport to date.
A local newspaper reporter saw the video and alerted the local police department, says Newark Police Sgt. Scott Snow. A police report was filed Sept. 24, and authorities are investigating the other kids in the video who were goading the suspect.

As the younger generation would put it, public education sucks.

"A crowd of six to 10 classmates...in Newark, Ohio..."Note to self: When founding a town or city, never name it "Newark." No good seems to ever come of it.

But it’s not a hate-crime. Nope, couldn’t be.
To: Clintonfatigued
At least one of the kids did the right thing in sending the girl the video, even though it took two months to do it.

Hmmm
I don’t think that the intention of sending the video was for the victim’s benefit. Perhaps I am thoroughly jaded, but I am thinking that this was a further attempt to put fear and intimidation on that student. More like.....remember this incident, well it can happen again.

Insane Clown Posse shirts....ok. Religious shirts....not ok because they might cause conflict.
Sooner or later Insane Clown Posse is going to have an incitement or RICO problem. I am sure they have a lot of lawyers, but you can see that coming a mile away.

"Its from New Ark as the founders of Newark New Jersey saw said city as a new beginning." Well that's appropriate. My last visit to Newark, NJ, I saw at least two of every kind of animal....

You were saying ...
As the younger generation would put it, public education sucks.
Well, it's the same as it was 50 years ago, and then we still had prayer in schools and even studied and recited parts of the Bible, too.
But, what about that wimpy boyfriend of the girl who got attacked? He was holding her hand all the while and even when she got hit a couple of times... LOL...
And after she got hit, he just hugs here... what a wimp!

She had a cell phone - call the police.
What the hell is wrong with her boyfriend that he let this harassment continue - she needs a man upped boyfriend, get rid of the wimp.

There are schools sooooo toxic that it would be better for the child NEVER to attend. This is true even if they received NO education at all!
I seriously mean it!
It would be better for them to be illiterate and innumerate than to every step even one toe in these cesspools of government education. The school in this article is one of the many.

Is this the wonderful “socialization” that homeschoolers are missing? ( Just wondering.)

You noticed that too!!!
Why are we raising a generation of wimps? NO ONE who expects to live past today would dare attack me or mine!!!
So call me a male chauvinist if you want but hit my woman (and she likes that!!) and go ahead and pick out your burial plot!!! That also goes for my children!!!

It all started because Alexis Xanders doesn't like Insane Clown Posse. Though it has nothing to do with this thread, I found this interesting because I referred to this very band yesterday.
When describing the leftist majority in congress and Obama's thugs to a friend, I described them as "The Insane Clown Posse."

Why are they blurring everything out? Is that supposed to be "protecting the innocent?" Put all their faces on big screens and let people see it. Let them be the objects of ridicule. Expose each and every one of them. Highlight their bad behavior.
