Daily Presidential Tracking Poll (-16!)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | December 12, 2009 | Rasmussen

Posted on 12/12/2009 6:34:23 AM PST by Scanian

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16. That’s the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President (see trends).

The 25% who Strongly Approve matches the lowest level of enthusiasm yet recorded. That’s partly the result of declining enthusiasm among Democrats. While Democrats continue to offer their approval, just 43% Strongly Approve.

Among all voters, 36% now believe that the president is doing a good or an excellent job handling the economy while 45% rate his performance in this area as poor. Seventy-one percent (71%) of Democrats say he’s doing a good or excellent job on the economy while 74% of Republicans say poor. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 52% give the President poor marks when it comes to the economy.

On national security matters, 39% rate the president’s performance as good or excellent while 36% say poor. Most voters nationwide lack confidence that NATO will do its part to help in Afghanistan. The President’s new plan for Afghanistan draws mixed reviews from voters.

Check out our review of the week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.”

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.

“job on the economy while 74% of Republicans say poor.”

Shows how many RINO’s are in the GOP.

My mom lives in Illinois and she has a friend who voted for Obama just because he was from Illinois. My mom told tell her to watch Fox News and get informed about Obama before she voted but she refused. Now this friends wages and hours are being cut all because of Obama, and this lady now openly regrets it. All my mom has said to her is, “Sorry, I tried to warn you!”

Now that the Congressional Black Caucus is going after him, those people could drop off significantly.
++++++++++++++

The overall picture is getting worse and worse for him...how will that operationalize into 2010 and will we be able to right the errors of 1994. Key among those was that Clinton found a way to win in 1996. We need to avoid that in 2012, or course.

Or it could give him either a purpose or a reason. The purpose is to make himself look presidental or a reason to impose martial law.
Dont think me a member of the black helicopter club, but I fear this man more than I feared the Russians.

I sent a negative article on Obama to my sister, a Florida lib, her response was, “so what, it isn’t George Bush”...I could send you stuff about him”. What is with these people? So I told her to send me all the negative Bush stuff she wants, it doesn’t matter as he is gone. Wake up fools!

Right. My brother converted to liberalism as a tip of the hat to his wife and is now pretty committed to that crap. My technique with these types is to just let the bad news pile up (which it has done of course) and then just ask them a non-partisan question about the future - ‘what do you think is going to happen with this economy?’ and just wait to hear ‘em stem, and hem and haw...all we can do is shake their utter, blind faith/confidence in ‘liberal’ facts be damned. My brother is a smart guy, he’s pushing the facts away, once they get in his face, he knows something is terribly wrong...he was just hopin’ for that hopey/changey thing. I still fault him for tossing his vote away, and damaging our country in the process. But blame for that can be spread far and wide, and is not limited to RAT sympathizers, as we know.

It’s pretty clear that Obama’s fall in popularity is causing increased atmospheric CO2. If you plot the CO2 increase during his term, you’ll see that as his popularity decreases, the amount of atmospheric CO2 increases.
+++++++++++++++

Is that related to flatulence, exhaling or both? Snickers..

I think it is more due to people realizing that he is about to sell us to the UN in Copenhagen.

of course health care is gathering steam .. that is gonna leave a mark too!

he is going to be a lame duck by 2010

And yet he still spends spends spends like there's no tomorrow and he's still cramming his health care abomination down our throats.

Never before, in my lifetime, have I ever seen a president ignore the desires of the country as I have this one. I still say he, and his socialist loonies, need to be forcibly removed from office before it's too late.

So it’s not just me? Looks to me like that chart starts at 68% approve and 88% disapprove.
++++++++++++++++++

The chart shows approval, then the next chunk shows undecideds and the next chunk shows disapproval. Think of it in terms of area, rather than plot lines.

I do not think the “Strongly Approve - Strongly Disapprove” +/- daily number is meaningful, though.
++++++++++++++++++

I somewhat disagree...lol! I do think that strongly disapprove shows that people will most surely vote against bammy/RATS, whereas somewhat approve numbers are in danger - and he has 21 percent there. Gallup has been showing that indies are leaving bammy in droves and we saw that in the NJ vote last month.

Wrong. Bozo has been -15 at least two days in a row, just recently(last month).

11/24, 25, he was at -15 and was at -14 11/18 to 11/20.

I do recall that now that you mention it...:) He’s always loved sports - as even his recent bid for the partial ownership of the Rams shows.

I hate to rain on the parade, but some folks need to wake up and get a clue.

-16nobama does not care in the least what Rasmussen, or any other pollster, has to say about his performance. As long as he can continue to advance his socialist/Marxist agenda he doesn’t give a damn about polls.

Something to think about: Who gives nobama the power he needs to advance his agenda? Congress. Who gives Congress the power to give nobama the power he needs? We do, via the ballot box.
+++++++++++++++

Ah, but the day of RECKONING is coming - or are you doubting that?
