Sarah has tremendous stage presence, ...
No doubt about that. And if she plays her cards right she’s the the next president.
She’s the conservative Harry Truman.

Here's a link to the ORIGINAL reading by Shatner -- looks like four months ago -- and he's not reading from her book. Last night's performance was simply a reprise. The video is included in a "Countdown" report which will surely make your head explode. (I'm starting to think MSNBC is full of evil aliens from another solar system.)

I agree about Boston Legal. I pretty much stopped watching after Bergen came on the scene. I just don’t care for her much. I know Shatner is rumored to be a yahoo, but I do like him. I wonder how far Denny Crane is from the real Shatner, in fact. :) I wish I had heard the Rush interview!

The root is in the books.
The bit about the moose eyeballs is in her book
- but then he jumped away with the made up lines to make it funny.

Maybe the moderates will finally realize Sarah was “swiftboated” by the left last year and that she is a GREAT person and a GREAT politician and candidate.

Actually, out of the 100+ pages I’ve read so far, three are in the book.
Haven’t found the one regarding Kid Rock yet.

Another win for Sarah. Great gig on a very good show (the best Late Night show). Right on, Sarah!

It’s on the front page today of nbc.com, on clip of the day or somesuch—it’s got Shatner reading her lines first, then she comes out, the crowd goes wild, and she reads from his book (all to some light jazz music in the background). Very funny stuff.

Sarah and her team are turning the tables on Obama and his puppetmasters, using the exact same venues he used in the two years or so before last year’s election—only difference is, Sarah Palin has earned her stripes and actually has real experience in governing. You can look back at this past year and see the truth about the empty suit! More of the same as usual in DC, despite all his empty promises of ‘transparency’ and ‘hope’ and ‘change’—yeah, he brought change. But not POSITIVE FOR THE COUNTRY change!

"I looked down to see the moose's eyeballs lying in his palm, still warm from the critter's head." p.32 "I always remind people from outside our state that there's plenty of room for all Alaska's animals-right next to the mashed potatoes." p.19 "One year, while stalking sheep, I disappeared." p.19
Haven't finished reading the whole book, so I don't know where the "Kid Rock" comment came from.

"I am sure this was completely staged and Shatner was well prepared to deliver all the amused and dead-pan expressions."I read where during rehersals the audience was sent out while Sarah did her rehersal so it would be a complete surprise to them. I don't know if Shatner knew or not.

Maybe the moderates will finally realize Sarah was swiftboated by the left last year and that she is a GREAT person and a GREAT politician and candidate. Incorrect use of the term "swiftboated." Swiftboating is the pointing out of inconvenient truths which a Democrat would rather that the public did not know.
What happened to Palin was that she was Borked.
