A mysterious giant spiral of light that dominated the sky over Norway on Wednesday has stunned experts — raising the possibility of an entirely new astral phenomenon.
Thousands of awe-struck Norwegians bombarded the Meteorological Institute to ask what the incredible light — which could be seen in the pre-dawn sky for hundreds of miles — could possibly be.
Theories have ranged from a misfired Russian missile, meteor fireball, never-before-seen type of northern light, black hole and even alien activity.
Witnesses across Norway all described seeing a spinning "Catherine wheel-style" spiral of white light, centered around a bright moon-like star. A blue "streaming tail" appeared to anchor the spiral to earth, before the light "exploded" into a rotating ring of white fire.
Sightings of the spiral spectacle, which lasted for two minutes, were reported as far north as Finnmark to Trondelag in the south. ..."

STRANGE LIGHTS OVER NORWAY: Wednesday morning, Dec. 9th, people in arctic Norway were stunned when a gigantic luminous spiral formed in the northern sky. "We are used to seeing lots of auroras here in Norway, but this was different," says Nick Banbury of Harstad who witnessed the phenomenon on his way to work "between 7:50 and 8:00 a.m. local time." The first reaction of many readers when they see this picture is Photoshop! Surely this must be a fake. But no, many independent observers witnessed and phtotographed the apparition. It is real.
Banbury continues: "It consisted initially of a green beam of light similar in color to the aurora with a mysterious rotating spiral at one end. This spiral then got bigger and bigger until it turned into a huge halo in the sky with the green beam extending down to Earth. According to press reports, this could be seen all over northern Norway and must therefore have been very high up in the atmosphere to be seen hundreds of km apart."
UPDATE (2 a.m. EST, Dec. 10): Circumstantial evidence is mounting that the phenomenon was caused by a malfunctioning suborbital rocket, possibly a Bulava ICBM launched from a Russian submarine in the White Sea. A Navtex no-fly alert was issued for the White Sea on Dec. 9th, and photographers have recorded what appears to be the initial boost phase of a launch beneath the spiral (see inset). A rocket motor spinning out of control could indeed explain the spiral pattern, as shown in this video of a Trident II missile launched from a US submarine in 2007. The Russian rocket hypothesis is plausible, but it has not yet been confirmed.

I think its a Russian test of some sort that combined a rocket spreading something in the upper atmosphere with a laser used to illuminate it for some reason.

When I first came to this part of Mexico in 1974, I read an unusual article in the Daily News that pointed to a project underway in a mountainous area, 40 miles south of Mexico City, in which the Mexican government was involved in granting permission to a special group of guardians who had been contacted by others who wanted to secure a landing and experimental base for their space craft. This story has insisted up to this very day, with credible photographs and verifiable video footage of some of these crafts and objects identified as “Ships of Light” by photographer Carlos Diaz of Tepoztlán. This individual has met with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan upon several occasions.
During one of those meetings in Tepoztlán, a group of witnesses literally observed an extremely bright object, appearing like a diamond or crystal in the sky in broad daylight, out of which exited two other smaller objects moving in opposite directions before disappearing around a curtain of the mountain in front of us. The larger bright object remained a minute or so longer, blinked or pulsated several times, before disappearing straight up in front of us. Within a few days afterward, I was inspired and guided to publish The Cultural Links News Journal bearing the Crystal Logo on the cover, which will also appear on my website later this year.
Every week of this New Year, further sightings over Mexico are being reported, appearing to the eyewitnesses in clusters of various formations. There is a heightening of expectation here and around our Planet that something unusual is taking place in Mexico, which is speeding up the molecular energy of our mental perception that is producing a great shift in spiritual consciousness.
In the midst of these extraordinary happenings is emerging a deeper awareness for many people of the Divine Presence and Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad affixed to the controversial “Vision-Like Experience” of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on board the Great Mother’s Wheel and his direct contact with the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
With all the foregoing conclusions presented, I raise this question to our readers for their response: “Is Minister Farrakhan’s Vision-Like Experience on the Mother’s Wheel believable? Are we witnessing a new science and technology that is being revealed moving us onward, one step beyond into another world?”

Farrakhan's so-called "Nation of Islam, btw, is a Black Liberation Theology/revolutionary communist front movement. It's effectively no different than the "church" Obama attended for 20+ years ("reverend" Wright's). Neither is really about religion.
It seems the "experts" are always surprised, stunned, confused, etc. no matter the subject.
Remember that Star in the East, those 3 really smart guys followed while packing all their belongings on camels and crossing deserts to seek the source? Well, its the same thing going on. Strange lights appear when “the One” is introduced to the world. If the Nobel Peace Price was being given in Spain, then we’d have strange lights over Madrid. We are just going to have to get used to it. Sort of like we are getting used to the “reverb” they use to back “the One’s” voice at speeches. Very smart, very god-like. A second theory, it could be a sign from God stating “you lie!”.
Maybe the "experts" are simply stupid. A lot of them sure are here in the USA, especially the political and economic experts.
Simple denial is a heck of a lot cheaper than dragging a small fleet of ships to the most remote part of the south pacific and hiding it.
