“The Totalities of Copenhagen”

William Dembski

Bret Stevens’ article today in the WSJ, “The Totalities of Copenhagen,” again shows the strong parallels between the global warming debate and the evolution debate, especially with the proclivity of AGW and evolution advocates to quash all dissent. Consider, from his piece, the following characteristics of the AGW advocates: ...

This is in keeping with your policy of never letting the truth get in the way of a good story. The WSJ article never mentions evolution so you conveniently scrub this through a kook creationist tabloid editorial and then represent it as the work of a reputable news organization. The really funny thing is that if you substituted the word Creationist for AGW both Bret Stephens’ WSJ editorial and William Dembski’s in the Creationist Nathonal Enquirer-like tabloid would both be true and make a lot of sense.

Give it up GGG. Evolution has been proven beyond a shadow of any doubt. It’s even been shown to explain women’s shopping behavior. How can you argue with that — even published in a science publication — has to be true.

It explains selfishness. It explains altruism.

It explains slow gradual changes. It explains rapid change. It explains no change.

It explains why I am typing on this keyboard. Well, I’m sure it could with a little study. Where’s my federal grant $$$?

My college biology prof said we swing our arms when we walk because fish are our ancestors.

Remember, the debate is over!

And it explains global warming, or climate change, or whatever is happening with the temperature.........

The theories actually explain each other quite well too.

Wow, with something that explains that much, one would think they wouldn’t need the government and the courts to ENFORCE the obvious. Perhaps the government just isn’t as sure about the science as the Temple of Darwin scientists themselves :o)

Believe me, there are a lot of other ways that you couldn't compete either (like college admissions and respect).
