One could almost make the case that the media is inciting the crazies to violence.
Cynical to say - but they would welcome a similar unsuccessful assault on one of their own to illustrate the insanity of *right wing nuts*....and describe the target as a sympathetic victim/hero.
When tomatoes are outlawed, only the outlaws will have tomatoes!

I have seen a lot of crap in my day, but this is by far the WORST. Just when I think nothing can shock me anymore I wake up and see THIS. So they have no problem seeing Sarah hit in the face with a tomato, how about a bullet in the head, would they be fine with that too? How far do they want to take this? So they are actually condoning an attempted assault on a human being. So this is what has happened to the United States of America..its really sad to see what has happened to my country. Ya know, as much as I dislike Obama and his policies, I would NEVER want to see anything bad happen to him, throw a shoe at him, throw a tomato at him, I’d want that person arrested and put in jail. That is the difference between the left and the right, we on the right, we take our anger to the polls where it REALLY matters, those on the left, they take their anger and attack people, smear people, and assault them. Its absolutely disgusting. I don’t watch CBS, havent watched it in a long time, the last time I watched when was Without A Trace was on, now that show is canceled, I dont watch

You're exactly right. These leftist fools deserve to be laughed at. They are so desirous of adulation that laughter would totally disarm them.
Big question no one seems to be asking is—what if it had been a terrorist or a wackco Leftist with a hand grenade? That looks like the next step—if they can’t silence the woman, or make her look like a fool—liquidate her. Time to beef up security around the ex-Governor.
