PAUL SCHIFFER, candidate for Ohio's 16th Congressional District, HAS ALREADY WRITTEN LEGISLATION TO REPEAL TODAY'S DECISION by the Envrionmental Protection Agency that Carbon Dioxide is a pollutant.

In an effort to show Mr. Schiffer's commitment to 'hit the ground running' when he reaches Washington, his team is already developing legislation to stop the insanity in D.C.
WHEREAS, the molecule known as carbon dioxide is life-giving and essential for all life on Earth as the gas that plants breathe to live, and
WHEREAS, without carbon dioxide available in the atmosphere all life on Earth, both plant life and animal life, would cease to exist, since plant life requires carbon dioxide and animal life depends upon plants as its ultimate food source, and
WHEREAS, carbon dioxide is a clean, odorless, harmless molecule which should not be confused with actual pollution, smoke, or other chemicals that affect air quality, and

If only Michael Steele could be even HALF as proactive as this....
If CO2 is a pollutant then so is oxygen. Effin morons, the EPA is useless.
Thats what it is going to take. It will have to be outsiders coming in to repeal all of BaLack Nobamas commie laws.
Get your ammo ready and the barrels oiled. Its coming soon ya’ll.
Most people are to stupid to know this because of the dumbing down of our educational system. I learned this in 8th grade many years ago. All life forms are carbon based, humans exhale carbon dioxide and plants need it to survive.
I have been very much dismayed at the lack of understanding when I have brought up the ridiculous SCOTUS ruling on CO2 being a pollutant. People look at me as if I have two heads when I have said the same thing: Oxygen should be a pollutant too, then. And these are not always younger people, either.
Based on this stupidity, I recommend that the EPA be agency number one on the hit list, followed in short order by BATF, the NEA, and every other government bureaucracy. Hell whats another few thousand lost jobs. Especially ones that are counter to every principle of the founding fathers and the Constitution.
It should be noted that more plants = less carbon dioxide & more oxygen.
Back in late 1970s in the USA Army in Germany, under Carter, we had to keep the barrack’s, housing and office temps at ice age temperatures. I think this bill should require the EPA set the example and do the same and especially as global cooling takes over.
This is my district...once represented by Ralph Regula.

Oxygen, by far, is far more destructive than CO2.
But this does not translate into the idea that increased carbon dioxide caused by man’s activities will increase the world’s temperature.
First, you are describing the effects of the Earth’s atmosphere in moderating temperatures and spreading heat around. That is true of ANY air, including the componnents of Nitrogen and oxygen. Carbon dioxide is a tiny, tiny, tiny component of air.
The atmosphere moderates the heat between night and day, or more accurately spreads the heat around compared with the naked moon.
But that is NOT because of greenhouse gases. That is because there is an ATMOSPHERE.
The Earth will continue to have an atmosphere and that is not going to change.
SECOND, no one knows what the effect of increased CO2 will be in the open atmosphere, including because the world’s atmosphere is DYNAMIC, not static.
Air that is heated RISES high up towards space, where heat is radiated to outer space. CO2 that traps heat will not stay hugging the ground but will MOVE. It will climb up toward space, where the heat is radiated to outer space.
So for all we know, more CO2 may create an AIR CONDITIONING effect in which heat is captured near the ground, TRANSPORTED up toward outer space, and then released into space at great altitudes.
Point is: We don’t know what we don’t know.
Half-baked GUESSES are not science.
THIRD, the geologic record shows that when the Earth’s temperature increses it is not until 800 YEARS LATER that carbon dioxide starts to increase in the atmosphere, probably being released from its dissolved state in the oceans.
We don’t have to votes to pass this until at least 2011. Just my opinion. It won’t hurt to try.
Dems and RINOs claim that the Crap and Trade bill that passed the house takes away the the EPA’s authority to regulate CO2 etc.
Mary Bono Mack (R-CA), after she voted for Crap and Trade:
“Furthermore, this legislation REMOVES the authority for the EPA to regulate GHG’s, and also puts the brakes on the State’s regime.”
Bono Mack is an idiot, but she is not the only idiot up there.
Silly question....why aren’t any of the current members of Congress proposing such legislation?
Silly question....why arent any of the current members of Congress proposing such legislation?
HA! Great question! Maybe the current members of Congress don’t really want to stay in Congress..
Let's not forget that very dangerous DiHydrogen Monoxide:
What are some of the dangers associated with DHMO? Each year, Dihydrogen Monoxide is a known causative component in many thousands of deaths and is a major contributor to millions upon millions of dollars in damage to property and the environment. Some of the known perils of Dihydrogen Monoxide are:
* Death due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, even in small quantities.
* Prolonged exposure to solid DHMO causes severe tissue damage.
* Excessive ingestion produces a number of unpleasant though not typically life-threatening side-effects.
* DHMO is a major component of acid rain.
* Gaseous DHMO can cause severe burns.
* Contributes to soil erosion.
* Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.
* Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
* Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
* Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.
* Given to vicious dogs involved in recent deadly attacks.
* Often associated with killer cyclones in the U.S. Midwest and elsewhere, and in hurricanes including deadly storms in Florida, New Orleans and other areas of the southeastern U.S.
* Thermal variations in DHMO are a suspected contributor to the El Nino weather effect.
What we do know is that without CO2 the planet dies
