Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood, the leading organization advocating abortion in the United States today. Darwinism had a profound influence on her thinking, including her conversion to, and active support of, eugenics. She was specifically concerned with reducing the population of the less fit, including inferior races such as Negroes. One major result of her lifelong work was to support the sexual revolution that has radically changed our society...

Sanger does not say she opposes abortions at all but in fact endorses their presumed necessity. Contraception by her comparison is essentially a statement made on the basis of convenience of one method of birth control over another less convenient, and is distinctly without an appeal based in any form of morality. Do you agree or disagree with this statement on abortions:
"While there are cases where even the law recognizes an abortion as justifiable if recommended by a physician, I assert that the hundreds of thousands of abortions performed in America each year are a disgrace to civilization."

Then learn to cite them. Putting quotation marks around them means nothing and is a waste of time if you aren't going to bother letting people know where they're from.It was obvious to anyone that can read. He asked for a Sanger quote, I provided his request in my response and put her words in quotes. Duh. It is totally obvious that when one puts something in quotes, it it not their words but the words of another. It was A that removed the quotes when he responded to me AND excerpted only a partial sentence.

Here is my post. The italized parts is where I repeated his post. There is no way this can be misunderstood to be a Sanger quote:
------------------------------------------------
If you have a credible quote where Sanger said she was not promoting abortion with her birth control project, let's have it.
"No one can doubt that there are times when an abortion is justifiable but they will become unnecessary when care is taken to prevent conception. This is the only cure for abortions."[

Do you believe women should have legal access to birth control?

Come on. Please respond. You asked for a Sanger quote and I responded by repeating your request for a Sanger quote and then putting here words in quotes.
You then excerpted only a part of a sentence removing the critical ‘but’ part of the statement.
You then removed the quotes from my post.
You then put the words in italics to further indicate that they were my words.
And you call yourself a Christian. Please respond.

I had several false conceptions about MS but as soon as I saw GGG post I knew it was worth investigating as everything he posts is usually agenda based and not fact based. Further research as shown in my later posts substantiates that.

Agreed. And for no useful purpose as well. Sanger has enough legitimate info against her if one wants to discredit her or PP without making stuff up.
Overreach. The problem of ideoloques from all sides.

I’ve had some of the ideologues on FR tell me that women belong barefoot and pregnant and have no right to divorce even if they are beaten daily by their husband.

Some sites declare that she was against the poor but she worked for 18 years helping poor women survive their cruel lives including having victims of botched abortions die in her arms.

Since even rudimentary psychoanalysis and personality profiling would indicate that those with such a compelling need to slash and burn in the name of God are really compensating for some dirty dark secrets I suggest we refer to GGG and his posse as DOP (Dirty Old Perverts).
To: Natural Law
I suggest we refer to GGG and his posse as DOP (Dirty Old Perverts). Perhaps to be a little more definitive it should be DOPES. With the "O" referring to "ole". I am not sure that these guys have a lot of age between them.

"Perhaps to be a little more definitive it should be DOPES." Done. I love it when collaboration works so well.
The next step will to be accused of double teaming and then actually being the same poster under two different identities.
To: ColdWater
Planned Parenthood honors her.. and the most noteworthy socio-political cause they champion [abortion], she opposed?
Well, “most noteworthy” doesn’t mean “only.” Planned Parenthood is about birth control, too.
