And yes its confirmed she made the Obama is a Communist joke..HILARIOUS yet true
As for the president, Palin joked that she was looking at a magazine cover of Obama and Chinese president Hu Jinato during an airplane flight. A nearby passenger stated, “Hu’s the Communist,” she related.
And, Palin said, “I thought he was asking a question.”

At the risk of possibly being flamed by half of the freepers let me say this.
For a woman Sarah Palin has a remarkable sense of humor.
I loved her line about animals and mashed potatoes from her book.
She is HILARIOUS. I never knew she was THIS funny. I was laughing my ass off. She has been through so much yet she has the ability to just smile, take it all in, and keep on laughing. This is great, sounds like she had a great time. And the media was obsessed with her, there were lines before the event with members of the press and others who attended waiting to shake her hand

But is she good enough to overcome the myopic Party-first, America-last GOP and get nominated in 2012? Her (and our) greatest obstacle isn't the Democratic Socialist Party, but the GOP.
BTW, do we need to come up with different terms for "liberal" (they are anti-liber(ty)) and "socialism" (they are anti-social)? How about the Bankrupt Authoritarian Growing Government (BAGG) party or the OLD BAGG party?
