The Pre-flood mythology of Genesis is just not a historical document.
That article is essentially useless, since it ascribes to the “big bang” nonsense of an unbounded universe. God’s word clearly states that the universe is bounded (by the waters above the firmament).
The assumption of an unbounded universe is what sends the idiots looking for non-existant crap like ‘dark’ matter and energy. The “Starlight and Time” essays demolish that nonsense throughly.
