Images of Prosecutor's strongly voiced complaints against Huckabee's clemencies, and a response stating that Huckabee "laughed out loud" upon reading it and suggesting the Prosecutor "cut down on your caffeine consumption".

He read “you” letter?
In Kansas we have a closed primaries that way the dems can’t nominate a Rino.
Thank you for your letter dated January 16, 2004. I had a good laugh myself, and since that time I've even managed to give up caffeine altogether.
Please tell your boss that I think we've had enough @ssholes from the Arkansas governor's mansion polluting our national policital scene.
Sincerely,
Alberta's Child
Why doesn’t the NY Times report on other stories this thoroughly? Hmmm.....
“Someone needs to send this to Hannity... and FOX!”
Good idea.
See ya Huck.
“Huck was one of the few office-holding politicians who had the guts to show up at Free Republic functions.”
Maybe that’s cause he loves misfits so much. ;)
Seriously, though, I am so thankful this disgrace of political correctness gone wild has come out now instead of when he was running for office.
I’m glad that I’m not the only one that heard it. In the past I have thought that Huck was disingenuous, but I never thought he was that bad.
Murder of 4 Officers Spurs WA Gov. to Turn Away Arkansas Parolees Reported by: KARK 4 News
Wednesday, Dec 2, 2009 @02:44pm
Washington Governor Christine Gregoire today accused Arkansas of violating rules about the transfer of prisoners. The governor also declared her state will no longer accept Arkansas prisoners, while expressing concern about emails she said surfaced Tuesday.
Those messages show Arkansas officials refused to keep a warrant in effect for Maurice Clemmons that would have kept him in jail in Pierce County.
Clemmons was released from jail 6 days before investigators in Washington say he shot and killed 4 Lakewood, WA police officers who were doing paperwork in coffee shop.
Gregoire says Arkansas violated the interstate compact agreement that allows states to accept parolees from each other.
At a Farm Bureau annual meeting, Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe told KARK he had just learned about the situation and had no comment.
Rhonda Sharpe with the Arkansas Department of Community Correction says her department has not been made aware of this situation and would not comment on any specifics.
Huck has all the makings of a radio evangelist.
Hopefully this will be the nail in the coffin for Gov. Huckabee’s political career as this episode demonstrates his malignant narcissistic, pro-felon philosophy.
First, that last paragraph in the prosecutor’s letter is prophetic.
Second, the idiocy in the Deputy Legal Counsel goes beyond the content, but the grammar. “The governor read YOU letter...”?
Seriously, thank God this man isn’t President.
I would say the 4 cops who were murdered, but of those 4 you mentioned, Tiger is the only one with actual lumps from it.
Huck is toast.
Understood, and I wouldn’t count on the Huckster forkin’ over any money unless he’s sued by the families of the murdered officers.
The NYT doesn’t realize that the conservative side of the GOP does not like Huckabee or want him to be our candidate. They are doing us a favor while trying to smear the GOP.
That caught my eye too.
Cox — Too stupid to proofread.
Cory Cox, may his name live in infamy.
We've got to get that slick, snake-oil salesman from Massachusetts out of the way as well.
