SEATTLE -- The suspect in the fatal shooting of four officers in Parkland was not found inside a Seattle home that was surrounded by a SWAT team and numerous officers, Pierce Co. Sheriff Detective Ed Troyer said.
Maurice Clemmons, 37, was believed to be holed up in the home in the Leschi neighborhood after he was shot and wounded by one of the four slain officers before fleeing from the Parkland coffee shop where the officers were gunned down.

Maurice Clemmons has a lengthy police record dating back to when he was 17-years old and living in Arkansas. He was convicted of aggravated robbery and sentenced to 60-years in prison. That sentence was commuted by then Governor Mike Huckabee in 2000 after Clemmons had served 11 years.
Clemmons was just released from Pierce County jail a week ago. He was awaiting trial on second degree rape of a child. He posted a $150,000 bond. Clemmons was also facing charges of assualting a police officer.
Rush just mentioned Huckabee pardoning this guy as a symptom of politicians caving to sympathetic protesters.
I don’t think it’s known exactly where he may have been wounded..... news references I saw last night were to a reported “abdominal” wound but of course there are huge variations in how such a wound will affect someone..... depends upon whether any organ was hit etc. But if any of the more vital organs were hit he would not have survived past daylight hours yesterday, most likely.
As for sepsis, I’m not in medicine but I’m not sure there’s any certainty that *all* abdominal bullet wounds would bring him to death’s door or the ICU. Anyway, it’s very speculative b/c I’m not sure anyone has definite knowledge of what kind of wound(s) he may have, outside of his little circle of lowlife helpers??? Maybe someone picked up by the police has provided more info, but then anyone associated with him is not exactly going to be cooperative?
The best hope for the coming hours is that he may at least be seriously limited in mobility and in the harms he can do until he is located.

There needs to be a LAW that if these people like Huckabee let them out of prison they will live next door to them or in there neighborhodd for rest of there live. And let them worry about there family going in out of there homes....ie if they will raped and killed by ones they let out of jail. This man had a 95 year sentence. Unforgiveable and a outrage!

From what I’ve read about the Huckster regarding pardons/commutations of sentences, he did not need any protestors to move him to put more dangerous criminals back on the streets than all of the surrounding states combined.
He was on a *mission* to believe that many had been reformed/rehabilitated, and in the case of Clemmons the Huckster cited the age (17) at which many of the crimes had been committed as some kind of reason to put him back on the streets.
So far as I can tell from a distance, Huckabee did not need any protestors to cave in to on these issues.
I know- he must be getting plenty if help. Unreal.

Let’s just hope the guy was harmed enough to prevent him from doing any more harm to others.
