WINDERMERE, Fla. -- Golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured when he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree outside of his Isleworth home early on Friday morning, officials said.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods was seriously injured and taken to Health Central Hospital. The Orange County Fire Department confirmed that a patient was taken to Health Central, but would not confirm that the patient was Woods.
Woods was driving a 2009 black Escalade, FHP said. He hit a fire hydrant outside of his home and a tree outside his neighbor's home.
FHP said the crash is still under investigation.

If this is true, I take back the part about him living his life with dignity. Cheating on your wife and kids is low as dirt.
And.....if his wife isn't enough for Tiger, then he has a screw loose.
If it turns out Woods was cheating, his public reputation will greatly suffer, although it can recover.
The woman he allegedly cheated on is white and blond.
His wife is white, blond, and Swedish.
That caused some anger in the black community when it was first disclosed they were getting married. I saw it as a topic if discussion last year:
I take it that most Black women don't like white women marrying famous black athletes. Think OJ jury.
I did read all of the Zoeller controversy, and it wasn't hard at all to see he was totally out of line, and that his comments were childish and bone headed. Moreover, it seemed to be consistent with his character. He seems to be always making inappropriate comments about people, and then claims it was "all a joke." When people take offense, it is their fault, because they are "taking it the wrong way! I was just playin! Just pulling your chord!"
As I said previously, I can't stand guys like that. Not only are they obnoxious, they are stupid as well.
As for Woods, if it turns out he was cheating on his beautiful wife and children with some floozy, he is a first class moron.

As I recall, Tiger's father was half black and his mother was not black at all (white and asian perhaps?). He is less black than Obama. Seems to me that the "black community" is going to have to figure out what "black" means.

Are you sure that is Tiger Woods' home in this photo you posted earlier? (above) Because, according to every report I've seen, his home is the one in the center below. At least the one where the accident took place (he quite possibly owns more than one home).

Look....it sounds like there was a fight and the wife hit him with a golfclub.....NO MAN leaves his house at 2:30 in the morning unless he’s going to get milk or medicine. His wrecking the car means he was SPEEDING to get out of the driveway!!! geesh...not rockt science here.

When an angry woman is chasing after you with a golf club that she’s banging on the rear window it’s kind of hard to concentrate on your driving.
I wondering if the noise, surprise of your back window being hit with a golf club might cause you to lose control of your car and hit a thing or two.
Well, I've had a mad woman after me as I run for the car get in and drive off in a hurry, too... LOL...
And you do tend to "get out of there" in a hurry, when she has a rock in her hand. I was trying to get out of there in a hurry before one of the windows got busted out. :-)
BUT, as an aside, I remember coming home one day and seeing one of the neighbor's cars with all the windows busted out. It was the "little woman" who did that, from what I heard later from the neighbor...
Women have a tendency to get funny like that... LOL...

Well, that was the fire hydrant I had been looking for in the other pictures... But, the only problem -- is -- that it's in the neighbor's driveway, not Woods' driveway... LOL ...
2:30 AM Thanksgiving night, he was probably board and hungry, going out on a pizza run and the latest National Enquirer.
Well, if it had been me, leaving at 2:30 AM Thanksgiving Day evening (the day after, actually), being the ordinary guy that I am -- I would be heading ot to stand in line for a Black Friday special (like I have before) .... LOL ...
When my wife worked in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster, this was one of the reports she got from an insured.

We’re told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV — but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.
Ahhhh..., now that sounds a bit more realistic as to what happened. I've had to beat a "hastry retreat", get in my car and buzz "out of there" in a hurry, with a woman running behind the car, ready to beat in the windows of the car, and presumably on my head, too... LOL... A disclaimer here, though, I was not seeing anothe woman... :-)
