Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!
No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!
We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!
We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!
No more socialism!!
Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!
Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!
And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!
Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!
The strategy is we win, they lose.
Any questions?
“This is not a Republican site. It is a grassroots CONSERVATIVE site.”
Fine. You can all preach to each other and shout down everyone who isn’t pure. That’ll get you exactly ... uh ... nowhere.
Are the RINOs who come on and post on this site all that disruptive?
Weak, weak, weak.
“Thatll get you exactly ... uh ... nowhere.”
Where has moving leftt gotten us except more liberals, more infringements on our rights, more governent, more irritation, and more idiocracy in governance?
They are when the disruption is to conservative principles.
And that always surprises me. I don't know why after reading the drivel.
To the brim it seems at times.
Nope. Rinos lose elections. Conservatives win. And yes, Rino posters are disruptive.
Two steps toward the left and one step toward the right is still advancing liberalism. It amazes me how many fail to see that- and justify it under the guise of alleged principles.
I am tired of holding my nose on Election Day...it is time for the RINOS to hold theirs...or vote Democrat.
They are a distraction. They cause pointless fights that waste our time. The world is a very big place, even the online world. There is plenty of room for a niche where true Conservatives can gather and discuss Conservatism without having to waste time on defending every word that comes out of their keyboard.
Diluting the Conservative message on this site is the express goal of those who oppose our Conservative views. They are, by definition, breaking forum rules *if* they are here to debate Conservative principles in and of themselves, somehow thinking they can divert us or change our minds and decide that socialism lite is A-OK. They are therefore subject to zotting.
Them's the rules. JimRob is just reminding us all of that.
I stand with Jim!
Yep. “Alleged” being the operative word.
Ain't that the truth!
The difference here, though, is either fight a possible Pyrrhic victory, or lay down your arms and be slaughtered wholesale like is happening in Congress now.
You cannot avoid the war or the battles, so you fight each one as best you can. Trying to sit out just guarantees you lose everything.
And remember the lesson the Pyrrhic victory - you cannot overreach in battle, over-extend yourself as you are marching forward. Basically, you cannot advance faster than your supply lines (either materiel or men) permit. There is a governance of wars. Pyrrhus said his famous words in response to losing men faster than he could replace them, but for every soldier he lost Rome lost two. Of course, the battles being fought in Italy, Rome was able to re-build its armies faster.
We must make sure we can draw more to the party than we lose, or we WILL lose, regardless of what battles we pick and choose. Rome won because it could replenish its armies, not because it fought with more passion or better tactics.
And, Rome finally turned back Pyrrhus not because Pyrrhus lost battles (he didn’t), but because they forged an alliance with their arch-enemy, the Carthaginians. Who are the Carthaginians we can lean on if needed, which enemy would you choose to align with if you need the support?
There is no way in hell I will vote for McCain again. He is a jackass and loser that has been selling us out for far too long. This time it is all up to the RNC to provide a palatable candidate by closing the primaries and running an effective campaign. If Obama gets re-elected in this political climate it will only be due to the ineptitude of the current R leadership.
I think they lose touch with voters and become DC insiders. We need people who are firm in their convictions. If they have no firm moral base, they become Rino’s and Chamberlins.
I LOVE that picture.
Definitely for the reading challenged.
Right on the money Mr. Robinson.
I really think too many don’t understand the depth of what is the Left, and don’t see how the Left has broached the borders between the Right and the Left. The Leftists feel free to wander amongst us spreading their clearly blurred imaginings.
The enemy within must be sent scurrying back across the border to their side, and the border sealed.
I think too many think in terms of Republicans versus Democrats, when if we were to look at the Political World we live in as Left Versus Right we could see that there is Left in everything Political, and to remain Right we must eliminate the Left from within our scope of concerns. Our lives.
Our target should be to #1 expose the RINO’s, and #2 get the RINO’s the HELL out of the Republican Party, and #3 send them scurrying back under the fence they crawled under in the first place, and back to their soul brothers, and sisters.
Agree 110%, JRobinson.
