THANKSGIVING IS....

Thanksgiving is a
time of gratitude to God,
our Creator and Provider,
whose guidance and care
go before us...
and whose love
is with us forever.

Thanksgiving is a time
to reflect on the changes,
to remember that we, too,
grow and change
from one season of life to another.

Thanksgiving is a time
of changing seasons,
when leaves turn golden
in Autumn's wake
and apples are crisp
in the first chill breezes of fall.

Let us remember the true meaning
of Thanksgiving.
As we see the beauty
of Autumn, let us acknowledge
the many blessings
which are ours...
let us think of our families
and friends..
and let us give thanks in our hearts.

The Bird is in the oven, the Champagne is chilling and we're ready for Thanksgiving! We have much to be thankful for, and thanks to our magnificent troops we live in Freedom! Thanks to all serving military and veterans!

I’m thankful that I was born in and live in a free country — and that there are so many fine and generous men and women willing to serve and protect those freedoms!

I’m thankful that we have Free Republic, and people willing and able to participate in the Tea Party and Town Meeting events. (We’ll take back our country!)

I’m thankful that the fraud of the globAL warming and climate change agenda was recently exposed. (We now have proof for what we conservatives knew in our hearts to be untrue!)

I’m thankful that I know and have accepted the Gospel of Christ — and that Jesus was willing to die on the cross for my sins.

I’m thankful that those who believe differently than I do are free to practice their religion in this country.

We each have so much to be thankful for, don’t we!?
