I remember the bad old days of DJIA at 14,000. And unemployment at 4.5%. And a massive federal deficit of $180B. Whew!
Thank God it's so much better now.

Obama has more combined troops in Iraq and Afghanistan than Bush.
Obama has tripled the deficit and doubled the unemployment rate.
But things are better now than under Bush?

Isn’t that the same rationale that landed Obama the Nobel Peace Prize? I guess Time can see into the future.

In one tidy cover storyThe Decade From Hell And Why The Next One Will Be BetterTime sums up the last decade and the one to come. Things were "hell" under George W. Bush, but will be better under Barack Obama.I think that this writer got it backwards. Unless the demise of their moribund publication is considered "better." For them the decade from Hades is coming soon. What morons!

The 70’s was the decade from hell: Started with Nixon trying to appease the Liberals with OSHA, EPA, and big spending, ended with Carter double digit inflation, double digit unemployment.

Thank God it's so much better now. The leftists were telling us back when the market was booming, unemployment was low, and the deficit seems paltry compared to now that it was the worst economy since the Great Depression. Now this. How these people retain any credibility with anyone is beyond me. I predict we are on the cusp of a massive defection from Obamalamadingdong and his policies. This Obama guy is making Jimmuh Carter look like a genius. People in the real world know the score. Watch in the coming months as the rats flee the sinking ship. I just hope it happens fast enough to stop this health control boondoggle....

"I remember the bad old days of DJIA at 14,000. And unemployment at 4.5%. And a massive federal deficit of $180B. Whew!" Yep! The horror of being employment with a healthy 401K and a deficit of just a few billion and decreasing, and low taxes.

They better hope they can sell that crap to liberal POS because they damn sure won’t see a dime of my money.

I was asking my doctor about government health care and he said “it will be good for me and good for you”. I was shocked! His final word on the subject was “anything will be better than the last 8 years”. I am seriously looking for a new doctor, this one is dumb.
