Navy SEALs Face Assault Charges for Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist

Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And for their trouble, three of the SEALs, members of the Navy's elite commando unit, are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

The three have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral's mast — and requested a trial by court-martial.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.

I heard a snippet of this story on my drive home and thought that I surely had misheard the story. I've been sick to my stomach since and came here to confirm that I had heard correctly.

How much more are we going to embolden the dregs of the world? How much more can this country fall?

The SEALS punched the mothereffer that mutilated and killed American citizens, including at least one former SEAL... the mohhamadans are laughing at us right now. And so are the rest of the world's dictators and fascists.They are learning the lesson that the US is really a paper tiger that will not fight for its interests and will punish those who do fight.

Whoever is bringing these charges forth better check under their car. The SEAL’s brothers won’t be happy.

A much better way of exercising their unhappiness would be a little sneak and peek at the department of vital statistics in Hawaii, and at the passport office in West Virginia (just guessing) or wherever it might be. Might be some "incriminating" evidence to be found there.

I wouldn't bother with the Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus. He was put in by Obama in March and had run water during O's campaign like a good little lap dog. He campaigned heavily for Obama last year.

He served two years in the military in 70-72. A one term governor in Mississippi. He served as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia under Bill Clinton and was awarded the “King Abdul Aziz Award" by the Saudis.

He has also served as a member of the RAND Center for Mid-East Public Policy and the Council on Foreign Relations.

He wants the Navy and the Marines to Go Green:

"Mabus, CNO, Commandant Issue Energy Challenges"

"...And now Mabus is asking industry to invest money in becoming greener and leaner and to build greener, leaner ships and equipment. I'll be interested to see what kind of reaction industry gives to all the efforts on the part of the Navy and Marines to "reform" how they do business. And whether Congress pats the department on the back for the new strategy."
