forYourChildrenVote4Bush: “This monkey is going to destroy your country!!!!”

Is there a particular reason why you use the term “monkey” to describe Obama? Are you being sarcastic or are you a racist? I dislike the man and his leftist policies, but his race is irrelevant. Please explain your use of a racial slur. I find it offensive, and I’m a white conservative.

MizSterious: “Possible end result = “president for life” Obama. Don’t know if he could pull it off, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he tried.”

The man and his leftist administration are incompetent. Sorry, but I don’t see them being talented enough to pull off a coup. The military would never support it, and too many Americans are well armed.

I don't think so. Obama is so far from the mainstream that I think he has set a new standard for "strongly disapprove". With Clinton that was based on disgust with his morals, even though he was essentially adequate in the actual performance of his duties. Half the time (and I could never predict when just from his words), his actions came close to matching what I wanted him to do. With Obama "strongly" is far too mild a word for the complete contempt we feel for this evil tyrant wannabe.

A little crisis (even nukes in multiple cities) won't change our strong disapproval - if anything another crisis added to the existing crisis fatigue will only further erode the socialist's support. Obama and those in his circle know that they have already gone too far with too little.

You're right about Clintoon. He was a disgusting person and an embarrassing president. But, with a little help from a Republican Congress, he gave up on most of his liberal plans (to the extent he was policy-driven at all) for the glory of partying on Air Force One.

The "strong disapproval" of Obambi makes the 'Toon look simply like the arrested adolescent he was.

I think that he’s going to fall like a house of cards and the stories that come out from those that he throws under the bus, (as he will blame everyone but himself), are going to be more telling than those told about Carter.

Imagine, 9 meetings with your cabinet to discuss what to do in Afghanistan, and in the end you do basically something that you could have done months ago.

The man is coning no one...He’s so over his head that, no learning curve is going to help him.

I see -16 by Friday...

He did it! I had confidence that if he tried hard enough, he could get to -15 and -9 overall! Great job, Mr. President!

-35 among independents should get vulnerable Dems pretty queasy about health care, cap and trade, ... The maddening thing about this current bunch of cretins is that I'm not sure it will have the appropriate impact.

That's the problem! Congresscretins are no longer concerned about whether or not they lose their seats. Being concerned about re-election was the old days. Days when being a Rep meant a lifetime gig of good pay and good perks.

Today being a member of Congress is small potatoes in the political world. Sure, some people enjoy it (for whatever reason) and do take re-election into account from time to time. But when it comes to actually OPPOSING the party bosses, forgettaboutit. These critters will bow to Pelosi rrather than their constituents every time.

Why?

Byron York (IIRC) had a great piece in which there was buried a dirty little truth: Pelosi absolutely controls members' "post-Congressional opportunities."

What does that mean?

Cross her and you'll never work in this town again. Vote as she dictates and lose your seat as a consequence -- no problem. She'll make sure you land a nice cushy lifetime job on a commission, think tank, lobbyist group, party appartus, etc.

Bottom line: the power the people are supposed to have to put pressure on their Congresscritters no longer exists.

That's why they are willing to risk re-election to vote for something close to 60% of Americans vehemently oppose.

They DON'T CARE if they don't get re-elected. Their vote gains them a HUGE IOU FROM NANCY --- an IOU that is worth MUCH more to them than the paltry job the voters can offer.

Yep. Like you, I don’t see any way for him but down in the next weeks. Politically speaking, there is no issue on which he can get a win. More than that, there is no issue on which he is not extremely vulnerable to looking pretty darn stupider on.

...”there is no issue on which he can get a win.”

No, but Barry and his enablers can certainly force their Marxist agenda right down our throats!

Who needs a win when you have tha powah?

My worst fear is pretty close to that, except that he lives, and then implements on a wave of sympathy his dream commie takeover.

No doubt about that, but that’s what the gag reflex is for!

Also, I was talking specifically about in the next few weeks. There’s nothing on the horizon that even remotely holds the potential for stopping Barry’s approval-rate freefall in the near term.

It won’t be New York or any Jihad attack. He would get blamed for that. It will be like Oklahoma City. The “awful Right Wing Extremists” will take the blame. The FBI will be complicit.

The panic will really start when his strongly disapprove exceeds his overall approval. It is 42% to 45% right now. I hope this goes negative soon.

Good point. And as time moves along, my prospects that are mainly small to medium businesses are in a wait and see mode to see if they will be (a) firing workers or (b) closing shop.

Time to move toward other opportunities.

Film at eleven.

>> Halperin said . . . that the healthcare bill would ‘create’ jobs <<

I’m a little surprised that Halperin would say such a stupid thing. I know he’s a committed leftist. But his analysis is usually pretty much straigt on. And he certainly isn’t dumb. So surely Halperin must know that apart from a myriad of tax increases that would go into effect right almost immediately, the so-called “healthcare” bill won’t actually take effect until 2013.

In other words, there’s no way on earth that the “deform bill” can create jobs during the next four or five years, except perhaps a few thousand slots for IRS revenue collectors.

You’re right there. Besides, calling Obama a monkey is a slur to monkeys everywhere. I prefer the nickname of Bozo or Zero. An empty suit and a clown, for sure.

He’s going down and dragging the US Congress with him.

Regime change in 2010 and 2012 as asked for by Todd Beamer’s father.

Please watch this awesome Fox News video of an American patriot’s father speaking. Mr. Beamer is exposing the truth to the American people!!! Please copy and paste this link into emails and send them to your address lists and ask them to send the link on to their address lists. Let the truth be heard about the treason taking place against We The People.
