I still wonder what will happen when each of these terrorists is acquitted.
Thank you, Mr. Beamer, for your courage and your keen perceptions. You are right on the money. Prayers always for you, your family and the United States of America. We have a war on our hands, on many fronts now.
This was painful to read....and this sideshow in the making must be stopped.
Ping!
Baffling? try calculated. This is not about anything more than putting the CIA, Bush and his administration on trial for the world to see. Obama’s medal of honor is to expose a tyranical and unjust part of American history to the world and proclaim a new begining and a new America because of him. Don’t be surprised if he suggests a world court with the UN in control. He and this is NOT America.
Of course he did. Hussein didn't brief Holder enough to answer those questions.
What kills me is they were pleading guilty in Cuba it was done. Now Obama wants to bring em here?
Powerful.
This decision is no surprise at all. Many in this administration of hard core, extreme leftists are sympathetic to these terrorists and not at all fond of their own country. Remember, going around the world apologizing and bowing to world leaders is not a sign of standing up for America. You want CHANGE? You got CHANGE.
Eric Holder, Stedman, is a DUMB BAG of BAD ROCKS. He’s CORRUPT AND STUPID......Dangerous Combo.
It’s not baffling at all, Mr. Beamer, once you become reconciled to the fact that Holder, and the entire 0bama administration from the top down, are hostile to the United States.
This is the understatement of the year...
It is good to hear one more person is at least less confident in the administration!
This decision is September 11, the sequel. It is my hope that Mr. Holder will reconsider.
These comments sum it up perfectly. There is no good outcome from this decision; not for the country, not for the victims or their families, and certainly not for our men in uniform. What exactly are we trying to achieve?
Come on —It ain’t BAFFLING or mistaken etc etc
Call it what it is
An attempt to attack Bush and Chaney
This is not a drill, friends. This is no longer about possibilities we hope and pray to avoid. It is here. It is now. This is the real deal.
After being treated like a school boy who didn’t study for a test, Holder and his boss should be embarassed to ever bring up the civilian trials again. This would be in a norml world where reason and truth prevail. But DC has gone a long way past that.
He was just on fox news, and he was fantastic.
He called out Attorney General Holder, and said he didn’t have answers to questions that the republicans asked him.
At the end of his talking on fox news, he asked for a regime change in Washington in 2010 and 2012.
He was great!!!!!!!!!

CNS NEWS.com: "In May, Obama Said He'd Use Military Commissions to Try Terrorists 'Who Violate the Laws of War' and to Protect Intelligence Sources and Trial Participants" by Terence P. Jeffrey (SNIPPET: "In a speech delivered six months before his administration decided to try 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed in a federal civilian court, President Barack Obama said he would use military commissions to try terrorists who "violate the laws of war" and to protect intelligence sources and methods as well as the safety of the people who would need to participate in such trials. In the speech, Obama said: "We are indeed at war with al Qaeda and its affiliates." Additionally, he warned in the May 21 speech that "al Qaeda is actively planning to attack us again" and that after 9/11 the nation had entered an era in which we faced "enemies who did not abide by any law of war."") FOX NEWS.com: "BLINDED PRISON GUARD: Don't House Terror Suspects in NYC" by Joseph Abrams (SNIPPET: "On Nov. 1, 2000, Pepe was ambushed in the cell of Mamdouh Mahmud Salim -- an alleged top aide to Usama bin Laden. Salim's cellmate, another Al Qaeda suspect, joined in the attack, which prosecutors say was an attempt to steal Pepe's keys to the cell block to free other prisoners and take hostages. The two had been granted permission by a federal judge to purchase hot sauce, says Pepe's sister, which they then stored in a honey jar and used to create a blinding mace. Teaming up against Pepe, they beat and blinded him, covering the floor in his spattered blood. They then tried to rape him as he waited an entire hour for fellow guards to come to his aid, his sister said. "They wanted to discredit the badge and what he stood for," Eileen Trotta told FoxNews.com. "After they plunged him in the eye with that makeshift knife, they did the sign of the cross on his chest." Trotta said it would be like "deja vu" to see more Al Qaeda detainees shipped into New York for trial, where their court hearings will be just blocks from Ground Zero. There's no reason why everything has to be in New York, especially after 9/11 and what happened to Louis," she said. "It doesn't make sense -- why bring them into the hotbed of the city?"")
