Maybe it’s time for Obama to appologize to the pirates for whatever we did to make them hate us.

“It’s, like, one of them drug dealer boats,” Vic says, looking through his magic sight. “Five guys on it. Headed our way.”
He fires another round. “Correction. Four guys on it.”
Boom. “Correction. They’re not headed our way anymore.”
Boom. A fireball erupts from the ocean two hundred feet away. “Correction. No boat.”

I suppose they didn’t want to disclose what kind of weapons the ship has onboard. I was hoping they would say they were blowing the pirate boats to smithereens.

Start placing RPGs on these ships and this crap will stop fast enough. The RPG is and excellent weapon, but probably worthless in trying to hit a fast moving small boat. MUCH better choice would be heavy machine gun (like the russian 14.5) or a 20mm autocannon like ths older hispano

I like the portability of the RPG.It can be put away and gotten out quickly.
These ships are supposedly unarmed, I believe the International community would crap themselves if deck weapons were mounted on these ships. Although I have no objections.
An RPG going off in close proximaty to a skiff full of African Tyrones should be pretty devastating to their bad intentions.

Start placing RPGs on these ships and this crap will stop fast enough. The armed guard they had on board seemed to do fine with the weapons at hand.

Yes: He frightened them off, but now they can prey on some other ship. They need to be destroyed.

I like the portability of the RPG.It can be put away and gotten out quickly.no good if you can't hit the enemy with it. Range is relatively short. Backblast is dangerous. Wind effect is counterintuitive, etc. Read this and maybe you'll see.

Could some mariner please tell us why ships keep transiting through these pirate infested waters? Is there not a way around?
