Depictions took place entirely in her imagination, says Wallace.

NEW YORK - Former McCain campaign senior adviser Nicolle Wallace says Sarah Palin's book "Going Rogue" is "based on fabrications," and that the basis for Palins depictions of her and former McCain campaign director Steve Schmidt as villains "took place entirely in her imagination."
In a statement to The Rachel Maddow Show, the former McCain spokesperson repeatedly used the word "fiction" to describe Palin's narrative and echoed criticisms by other former McCain staffers.
"She [Palin] probably has a legitimate complaint that things could have been better conceived and executed. A book about that would have been painful but not entirely unfair," Wallace told an msnbc producer in an off-camera, on-the-record interview.
Wallace took particular issue with Palin's version of her interview with Katie Couric interview, which did not cast the former vice presidential candidate in a favorable light.

Sean Hannity needs to quit having Nicolle Wallace on his show. It seems like she’s on there every week. The fact that Wallace chose to talk to Maddow, pretty much says it all right there. It should also be noted that it is CBS, Wallace’s former employer, who is constantly dragging out Levi Johnston every chance it gets. Essentially, CBS has become a clone of MSNBC.

Wow! What a smarmy piece of dung Mr. Cohen wrote here.
The left is extremely scared of her. They used to call Reagan stupid as well.
And yes...I think Sarah would be a much better representative of the U.S. than the wonderful Dear Leader we have now. I’m sure she’d have the sense not to bow to kings and emperors.

If it wasn't for Palin, McCain would have lost by 40%. The Rats and RINOs successfully managed to vilify the GOP Conservatives to a point that we said that they can just do without our help.

Honcho, when one of the most trusted advisors of your new boss, who worked for Katie in the past, says she's set everything up with Katie and this will be a “wonderful opportunity,” do you go along, cautiously, or do you turn to your new boss and tell him to shove it while kicking the @ss of the trusted assistant?
Get freaking real and pull your head out.

The fact that Nicolle Wallace ran squealing to The Rachel Maddow Show should tell everyone all they need to know about this Rat hussy.

We're supposed to take the word of some dime-a-dozen 'advisor' over the Governor of Alaska? Get over yourself, 'Ms.' Wallace, you twit.

Of course; you would NEVER see anyone on the right expressing similar sentiments about Hillary on a t-shirt. Stay classy, Democrats. By the way...to that idiot in the glasses; you’re white, dude. Deal with it.

On Sunday, NBC News reported that McCain specifically asked his former aides not to do television interviews rebutting Palin's charges and to avoid escalating the feud. In an interview with the Hill newspaper, McCain reportedly said he enjoyed reading Palin's book. "I hope she sells lots of them!" McCain said.

ANY “Republican” that goes on Rachel Maddow’s show is VERY SUSPICIOUS as a REPUBLICAN! The only worse show they could show their true colors would be on Keith Doberman’s show.

Nicolle Wallace and her husband Mark Wallace (Romney’s Texas Finance Chair)...were in on this sabotage from the beginning.
Nicolle, you were busted out that you were the leaker of lies in the emails sent to Bill Kristol.
You remember Nicolle and Mark...then you leaked that Krisol’s source was fired from the campaign....WHICH HE WASN’T.

She was just naive. I doubt that she had ever watched much of Couric on TV back in Alaska. I sure don’t watch Couric. Perky Katie had a rep as a lightweight morning happy talk host before she got bumped up to sit in Rather’s chair.
As Alaska’s governor, I seriously doubt that insider media buzz — the stuff people who frequent the inside the beltway cacktail parties talk about — was even on Sarah Palin’s radar screen.
It was the McCain campaign’s job to prepare Palin for a tought interview, not to sell the idea to her that it would be a softball game.

If it wasn't for Palin, McCain would have lost by 40%.The McCainiacs know it, and it's eating them up. McCain's advisors knew they had to do a "Hail Mary", and they did the right thing by bringing Sarah to the ticket.
They soon got jealous over the energy and the crowds, and started sniping at her from behind the scenes.
Schmidt, Wallace, and a host of others proved themselves to be true blue REMFs. They made Courtney Massengale proud.
